Its really nice to finally have some challenges other places than primarily in cities. My first time experiencing the wolves was terrifying and I almost lost my gear trying to initially outrun them haha.

My VOIP was not working what so ever in DayZ but was fine in other programs. I couldn't find a fix for it that was straightforward so I decided to just re-install (Audio works fine now). If you don't really want to go with that route, you could try updating sound drivers, or switching from stable to experimental and back or vice versa. I know this has been stated previously, but I really feel if starvation and dehydration were a serious threat the survival aspect of the game would improve greatly. Especially if food was somewhat scarce and took a bit of time and effort to come across.
