hey mod whoever, the one who deleted my reply on here (first reply) if you're gonna do that at least pm me and say what you did't like about my post. Because everything I said was entirely factual. If you disagree with something in the story I told the OP then say so.

There's some sort of correlation to the loudness of gunfire actually triggering zed spawns. High powered gunfire (FAL) would do it. I've noticed it when friends and I would open up our machine guns on zeds. So long as you're in a house and can aim down a hall at the door you can literally just keep killing them as they spawn outside and run to the gunfire.

Keep it a dual functioning scope, just replace thermal with normal scope. So it could be used in daytime then switch to the NV at night time. I also like the idea of giving the rangefinder a thermal sight, so you could still have the para-military feel of spotting/sniping/group activity.

On Namalsk I triggered a betrayal amongst a group of people I had pinned down (with an M14) on top of an industrial building. I was on a hillside shooting down at what was at least 4 people on this roof, one jumped off to his doom and the other three hid behind a corner where their newest member promptly shot them in the back lmao. I'm a bandit yeah but idk abt the whole betrayal thing lol

I played in this order: Chernarus, Lingor, Panthera & Namalsk Namalsk wins with its atmosphere. Actually having to try at surviving the elements; at night time you can downright die from the cold wind. Some places where the loot is best are on mountains so high you can only be on them for minutes before catching a cold/getting sick! Better find the new "warm clothes" skin though because without it heat packs only provide a minute of steady hands on the freezing mountainsides... or even anywhere outside at night time, you could get the cough standing on the beach so long as its night time! Plus some servers have a new underground bunker which is the only location to score the new Rail Gun sniper rifle! Its so rare I've only ever found ammo for it.

I just fought my way down into the lab. Had to kill some people (including a heli co-pilot!) in my way to get there, but I'm in! Got to put my DMR to good use! I STRONGLY recommend having at least a handful of smoke grenades when trying to get in there. Between my gunshots and what zombies had been spawned before I even got into Object AII, atleast 50 of the angry things were chasing my gunfire. Hence the smoke grenades. Perfect at distracting zeds away from you while screening you from gunfire outside the compound! Today was the most exhilarating trek in my experience playing DayZ! PS I even had time to search the whole underground compound once through from top to bottom.. then made my way back to the entrance.. Waiting for a humanly pattern in the footsteps above... With my rifle.. ;)

Found a M4 Holo SD at a crashed heli, used that with an L85. No sidearm with full slots of M203 HE's n such Ended up dropping a HE on a guy later that day, was so satisfying! Its like getting a hole-in-one in golf!

Best fierfight: at <10m my AKM vs the sniper (some kind of .50cal) who killed 3 of my buddies at NWAF. I routed him to the North and left my bicycle near a treeline; in the open, facing east--seeing as nobody who just fired that many rounds would dare go west (into open fields). As expected I intercepted him and shot him down off of the bicycle, as he ejected behind a tree I fired another clip in his direction. No kill message...he runs out from behind a stone hedge firing his .50 at me and I fire back, we chased eachother around the few trees there for probably 20 seconds. I heard a leg break and he fell behind a bush, then of course he alt+F4 Was still the best firefight in spite!

soldier uniforms were only fun for the shortest amount of time-- back when a majority of players didn't know about them. I was given one and I'd go into town with no backpack and just an axe + essentials. Players thought me a zombie; made it all too easy to chop them to bits with an axe soldier uniform + zombie face/skin makes you look just like a zed

I didn't dump a 1866 slug into the back of his head. I saw him from across pavlovo and outskirted him til I sneaked my way behind him. I was literally standing over him watching him crawl on the ground! Same day.. On the Electro short hill overlooking the NE firehouse/grocery store I spotted a guy run from the school to the front of the grocery store, I ran down through some trees/foliage in a path right behind him. I followed him through to the back of the store, seeing as how hopelessly oblivious he was, standing at a pile of whatever on the floor.. Standing mere feet behind him I pulled out my makarov and reloaded it right behind his head. lol, then I ran through the open door and closed it behind me. He never came out of the building lol

I found one in the upper barracks of NWAF, along with NVG's in the hallway. Just outside, 40m away was a downed bird. Crawled out to it and got another NVG, ghillie, DMR & AS50... Another heli was a click to the east... ya lol all in like an hour

I think hiding any body you come across is a good idea because: if you need to kill a zombie, leave no trace If you need to kill a player, leave no trace If you come across one, leave no trace A dead body draws attention, gives away your general location and if a player corpse then whatever they have can be used against you in someone else's hands. At the very least someone else was just aiming right where you are!

Last time I had an SVD I got 25 murders with it before dying... So yeah it's GOOD. The in-scope range finder is priceless

Shea's suggestion: Have the radio be an item you spawn with, so that you can have frequencies to chat with your friends on. Server specific radio, without the risk of public chat alerting nearby enemies would also be an outstanding addition to multi-player dynamics in this game. Both Banditry and Heroism. Think:: you and your buddies are going raid a small town, break the squad in half take separate freq's; now you have coop built in. No need for other programs even. On the other hand, (*poke* *poke* now that we have new skins!) for those who tend to avoid banditry and be more on the heroic side, radios are a feature that could contribute to the idea of home servers where players get to know each other.... Peacefully hopefully ^_^ Feast like a sultan, I do Upon these ideas I wish could become true

Yesterday I found two. The first one was right on the airstrip not 50m from the North Barracks! Literally right across the tarmac I crawled. Second one was due east like 600m. Looted 2NVG's, Rangefinders, mags for my bizon that I later dropped for a DMR, then a ghillie and M107. My best loot run within 3 hours of spawning.

fav military loadout: L85 & M4 Holo Primary ammo: only Stanag SD mags (usable in both guns, zeds wont hear shots/players will) No pistol, (all HE grenades in secondary ammo slots)
