I went to Dayz in Steam, right-clicked, Properties>Local Files>Verified The Integrity Of Game Cache...it repaired a few file...textures are now loading.

I just installed an EVGA GTX 1070 SC. My FPS has improved a lot but now textures arent loading. All of the textures that you can see load very quickly though. Need to restart the game each time I leave a server.

Try clearing your launch options completely. In steam launcher goto Properties>Launch Options> clear everything but -nopause. It worked for me.
