I've played DayZmod and DayZ SA when it came out. I always loved the game but some of the bugs in SA made the game quite ridiculous, mainly super hero zombies from all corners of the Marvel universe. So basically I'm wondering what I might need to know after 7 months away. I'm hoping zombies function like.. zombies now. Did they come up with a good system for logging in and out of the game? To fixed ghosting/hopping/"oh shit I'm being shot at" logging. I don't really feel like reading through all the patch notes and trying to figure out whats fixed and what still may be broken. Not looking for crazy details just general points is fine. Is the game still fun to play? From my quick scan of general forums looks like it.

Glad to see that this game seems to be going strong still. And that there are people that still want to trust someone else. Maybe I'll log in and see if I can get people to trust me :)

+1 Great video. I had the same thought about going from (semi) 1st person in the opening sequence to 3rd person for the rest of the video. I still loved it all the same.

I do like that they said it would go to console after its "ready", as if it would work on consoles in it's current state.

Does that change how far people/zombies will be visible?

That's exactly why but I can't wait until they add respawning loot.

Sure there were probably restarts but I rarely ran into them face first like I do now.

I was confused why they changed the art of so many things but didn't think much of it. But maybe there is some conspiracy here we can come up with. I will note the in-game beans match the forum beans. :thumbsup: :beans:

I have read the same issues with nothing being done to enforce the server rules. Kind of lame. I also had got the understanding that you did not think "private" servers were bad from some of your previous posts. Glad you cleared it up. :thumbsup: Private Server Chumps should all log in missing their backpack and pants.

I think you have missed a word or two. But yeah as they said, check the time of the server before joining. GAWD I can't wait until servers don't have to restart and we can live a normal day in the apocalypse.

Never thought the loot stealing bandits that get you when you log off could be attracted to certain items. Thanks for the heads up.

You can understand how people may have confused you for your friends since you're the one posting. Not sure why people think zombies in a zombie apocalypse should be "easy". I'm sure us humans would have been able to stop the zombies from taking over if they were "easy". If you think fighting zombies is hard. Then Don't Fight Them.

I agree, I think loot should be hard to come by. Not easy. Yeah but private hives do not exist yet, so what people are trying to do is setup "Private" servers. There is a big difference IMHO.
