Idk I was thinking about this and realized that it only really stops combat loggers in most close combat situations <200 meters. IMO long range engagements tend to be drawn out with periods >30 seconds of hiding behind cover.

My shit crashes all the time. It seems to be right when I get shot at. Or right after I confirmed the airfield has no loot. Weird..

The OP does have a point even though he is clearly insane. Lets say for example, this guy I know has a Mosin and, lets say this guy shoots at someone on the airfield. Said someone can just find a spot where he can't be seen and move to the next server to continue server hopping for loot. (after his delay for switching servers ofc).

It was a 3pp server and their foe did not take adv of that as they did, he probably lost because of it. I certainly would not have walked out with my gun holstered after seeing you kill my buddy either though.

It seems that being dead pre-patch may not have anything to do with it. Maybe just dying means you're dead forever... kind of realistic..

This issue sounds like if you were dead pre-patch you are perma dead post-patch. I don't know if a bug report has been made yet but I would put that in the description abotu being dead pre-patch if that was the case.

Others have reported the same issue. It seems that if you were dead pre-patch you are perma dead post-patch. I do not know if there is a bug report in the bug section but you should all go there and respond to it if there is. Sorry :(

:beans: Welcome to DayZ :beans: I have had zero problems gearing up in one server running from town to town. I even find plenty of food in the coastal towns sometimes. The servers restart so damn often (can't wait until that's gone). I never try to join a freshly restarted server. Yet I end up finding what I need. edit: Weren't there already 20+ threads on this addition before the patch? Now we need 50+ threads about this addition after the patch?

If I couldn't go get those combat loggers with their pants down, I'd be mad. I can't now because work so I can't be mad.

Is this posted in the bug section as well? It seems that with multiple ppl experiencing this issue we should let the Devs know. Where the other two people here also fresh spawns before the patch?
