Sound board sounds like a good idea. Also learning the interactions well should help. Like Wave/Point/Hands up/Clapping... and ofc the finger. I would also see about finding a group of people to play with. There is always safety in numbers.

lame and unoriginal. I logged into hardcore and someone was already yelling friendly at me (I didn't pick the best spot to log out as I had eaten a rotten kiwi > :( and still relatively fresh). He approaches the top of the stairs hands up requesting to come up, I state my friendly nature and invite him up the stairs. We then go to another town (Slvonsky or w/e that new northern town is) to loot together and after 15mins or so of looting I hear two shotgun shots ring out while I am drinking at the fountain. My new friend was shot and all I had was a fire ax. He explained that he saw him at the last second at that he was at the top floor of the hospital (5 floors of stairs and landings, we were on the TMW ts). He asked me to get revenge for him. I figured why not give it a shot ax I still didn't have too much stuff. After the slow walk up the stairs I come around the last landing and start my slow walk up the stairs to the top where the ladder to the roof is. Sure enough there is a guy with a shotgun starring me in the face. **BAM** WTF! I'm alive. Shit there are two shots in that thing. **BAM** MUHAHAHA My turn!! I get to the top of the stairs and ax him twice before he runs off like a madman. He makes it to the ground floor faster than me as I missed some turns. I see him across the room reloading but he was not able to fire off any more rounds. So, the interactions with those two players top my list of dayZ fun. That and the fun I've been having with the TMW crew. :thumbsup:

We know it exists it has for some time. No one is denying it's existence. Just simply stating that it was most likely not a hacker that killed the camping coastline sniper. He probably hadn't moved (from his position) for a good long while but probably was moving around, probably fired off some shots, probably did not have good cover. Any one or all of these are the more likely cause of his death.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I forgot to tell you last night about Hardcore, sometimes you experience different interactions with people in game. Sometimes not. Ps. It's too bad about Arsenal today :(

@OP, looks like we see someone lag, we only see one instance of him disappearing. Then we see a camper get shot in the back after staying in the same spot for who knows how long.

Well from 11 meters you will break you legs probably start bleeding and go unconscious. So unless you have someone waiting for you when you land you probably will die.

Yes, that is a very basic general flow. I think with alpha they are stating that many things are NOT set in stone and could change entirely or removed all together. When you buy the game they have blurbs that explain this.

That wasn't on purpose, in fact I tried it and could not reproduce it for me. He was only doing that to be silent while moving, Also, if you glitch through walls most likely you are seen glitching through the wall on the other side. Also, the sound of the enemies voice helped Martin acquire his position.

That is why we play. You should check that one guys thread where he posted a video of him sniping and almost combat logged when his opponent returned fire. HILARIOUS that he actually posted the video. Also, he thought he was getting shot with a shotgun at 300meters even though it's clearly a fully auto gun. The guy shooting at the poster did appear to be glitching in some way though but who knows.

I got shot last night. Shot many many times, I thought it was a pistol (turned out to be an M4). I was healthy and green hydration/energy. When I finally went unconscious I lay there for a solid 3 minutes maybe as long as 5 (I didn't time it). My buddy finished off the foe and came to bandage me as I lay dying on the ground. He then used both the epi-pen's we had on us and some morphine. Yet, I still lay unconscious on the ground. Finally after the 3-5mins I woke up. Blurry as hell, black and white vision but alive. I'm pretty sure I was very very close to death but because I was healthy I was regenerating blood to slow my dying process. After my friend bandaged me (after finding some that weren't ruined), I was able to regenerate blood until I reached the level of blood needed to be conscious. So, I'm pretty sure that unconscious =/= death. That being said, if you are below the blood level needed to be conscious, NOT bleeding and not healthy enough to regenerate blood, you may just lay there forever who knows.
