I'm just a little concerned that part of the open world feeling will be lost when players either acquire military clothing increasing the hot bar slots or become further disadvantaged by being unable to get stuff done quickly in the world. Players that currently choose to roam Chernarus without looking like a character straight out of a mil sim have, in my opinion, a tactical advantage in situations where conversation rather than bullets apply. Its a play style that works for me and people like Rene aka Barely Infected. We are already disadvantaged by having fewer inventory slots which is fair enough but I'm not convinced that any further penalties are relevant or realistic. If I can carry it I should be able to use it as quickly as someone with a massive arsenal of weapons and/or items.
I really hope that the changes don't kill off this play style as the majority of really exciting encounters tend to happen when strangers talk rather than shoot.
Ps. I picked a bad time to post if this develops into a discussion, I'm away for a couple of weeks now but I'd love to hear thoughts on this. Just don't think I'm ignoring you if you ask for further clarification of my comments.
