I already have an addons folder in OA with the filesEDIT: you mean the dayz files right?

I just rechecked it, It says "you can not play/edit this mission, it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.chernarus" I just installed: ARMA2_OA_Build_95417.zip dayz 1.7.2.4 i have the games on steam but Im launching the game through the beta thumbnail

i just reformatted my comp so im reinstalling everything. dayz was working perfect beforehand. I've got arma 2 beta updated, dayz updated.. but i can't connect to a server, gives me some "you can not modify blah blah" error and throws me back into the server list. What am i missing?

Was told I need to install the latest arma2 patch as i've been having the debug forest error, among others. I can't get on most servers cause it's out of date, and my dayz files are up to date but I was told my arma 2 patch needs to be up to date. I downloaded it, ran it like shown in this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeKQ3Wx_uH0 but still not working. is there something extra i need to do for a steam version? PS: the vid shows I should see that it will say it's a beta version upon launching, mine does not.

Getting mad with this, as I've been trying to get it to work for about 2 and a half hours now. Buddy and I were playing, and just as he loots a map the server crashes for both of us, and everyone else on the server. Since then neither of us have been able to get on ANY dayz server. We've tried everything we can think of.. uninstalling and reinstalling battle-eye, verifying game cache integrity in steam, replaced the dayz files, restarting comp and steam, tried the auto-updater on the dayz site, and probably other things i can't think of at the moment. He's now uninstalling and reinstalling the games completely but I doubt that'll fix it. No servers are working, it gives me a 'you've been kicked out' error each time. This is a new error though, about 30 minutes ago it was giving me weapon file errors and freezing on the loading screen. Then the rare server would let me on but I was completely stuck in water and unable to move or use any keys. WTF is going on?
