Hi Kevin, you need to make sure you launch it from "Launch Arma2 OA Beta Patch" short cut found in your operation arrowhead folder (right click it and do the target wording at the end -mod@dayz) (EG: Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -mod=@DayZ -nosplash) Once that was done because I used steam I wasn't able to play dayZ unless I launched it in combine operations from steam. I found the following on the steam forum and it seemed to work for me. Because the patch requires the 'target' to be the expansion folder, not the base folder, I think you have to make a custom shortcut: - 'Games' menu -> Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library - Browse to the arma2oa.exe Then: From your Steam Library; - Right click your "non-steam" arma2oa shortcut, select 'Properties' - Change the 'Target' to: ...\ARMA II Operation Arrowhead - PC\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash -world=empty -mod=@dayz where "..." is your steam games folder Make sure "Start In" is: "...\ARMA II Operation Arrowhead - PC\" where "..." is your steam games folder (Folder names might not match exactly: I got mine from GMG) Hope it helps mate, Fenn
