I've had nps at all with Vilayer, normally go on their TS which i have to agree sometimes can be a pain to get hold of someone but when i do and it's most likely Lee then things are sorted on the spot! Wanted my server upgrading to 50 from 40 and he did it for free! Also try and get in touch with {CQF}Johnny on here or Skype. But yeah i've had no downtime at all with my UK server.

Somebody must be able to help me on this one haha!! Anyone? :huh:

Only came to light that one of the guys was restarting the server and not letting any of the folks know beforehand! From now on either myself or X will announce either by RConn or the in game Global chat that the server will be restarting! Sorry for letting this go on for some time! Also remember that our server stays light right into the early hours of the morning as well (UK time).

bumpage edit** Apparently the server restarted tonight at 19:40 but when i've looked in the rescheduled starts i must of left one in there but it's set to 06:20!!!!??

Yeah but I wanted to put the exact time in the motd to warn people when it will restart. I have no idea what time the server is running at, if I put it at 12 midnight UK time it doesn't restart then.

Ok so i'm in the UK and i'm after setting up specific times when the server will restart. After one of the guys successfully showed me what to put in the CP i'm stumped as to what time i should be putting in! I'm after setting my time so the server restarts every 6hrs, so it would be 12 midnight, 06:00 etc etc. Ok so atm my server is set to UTC-6, the ACP is set to GMT+2 and the actual in game time is always around 6 mins behind real time. Thx if anyone could help, asked the guys at Vilayer but they didn't seem to know haha ;)

Well some how we had the server maxed out last night, didn't want to do a server restart in fear of people not coming back. All was going sweet till some arsehole scumbag put the entire server into the ocean then onto the thunderdome.... FACCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can't with Vilayer's servers atm, i normally do it in game via global chat or the other admin by RConn ;)

Sorry for the n00by questions here guys!!! Basically we just have the MOTD when in the lobby but i've been mooching about on other peoples servers and can see that some have different messages popping up telling people when the server will restart etc. Is this by a seperate RConn tool or just the servers control panel? Also wanting to put what time the server is at in the title, atm in game it's just after 9 in the morning, in the control panel settings it's set to -6 UTC but i'm wanting to know what it would be in GMT? Sorry getting a bit confused with UTC haha!! >.<

Guys i may come across as being a bit of a divvy here but can any of you fine gents tell what you have in those bloody boxes for scheduled restarts? I'm after wanting the server to restart every 4 hrs and also is there anyway of warning people on the server via an in game message to say it's about to restart?? Thx for any help guys ;)

Our server UK31 is -6 UTC, so should stay light into the early hours of the morning.

Bloody well said m8!!!!!! First game i have ever encountered where admins aren't allowed to do pretty much anything! I mean it's us guys that have made the mod become what it is by paying into renting servers for the community and how does Rocket and co repay us? By threatening our servers with being blacklisted whilst these poxy little scrubbers carry on hacking. Doesn't show much only Bears body next to his crashed heli. Just wish Wolf had taken a screen cap of his body in the alley of Elektro! Let's see how shit this stand alone game is going to turn out!
