Yip i've now ran back to where my corpse should lay and all i can hear are flies and no body and no loot! Also hearing flies buzzing in random places but again no bodies! One of the guys last night kllled a bandit, his body stayed there for around 3mins then vanished.

Did anyone manage to get it going? Is it still there? Running over to Elek last night and i could see 2 weird coloured lights what looked to be in the air. On closer inspection i i noticed that it was a Huey with it's 2 lights on, think all instrumentation was on red though when i finally got up there to look inside the cockpit :( Anyway i connected to the server this morning and it was still there sat on top of the roof.

Hasn't the last patch made the game even darker if you turn your brightness and gamma up slightly?

I've said it before and I'll say it again in the 30+ years of gaming this has to be one of the finest experiences I've ever had, game is just amazing full stop!

ATM playing this game is top of my priority! My fam can go take up hiking if they want lol ;/

Is there any way of being able to see my team m8 besides chem lights and flares? I've tried upping the gamma and brightness and i still can't see his out line against the dead of night yet he still see me with np's!! Tried settings on my monitor but to no avail, the only thing we put it down to was that his monitor was cheap and the blacks were pretty rubbish against mine. cheers for any help chaps!!

At the end of the day people should be bowing to you for even releasing this masterpiece! Bugs or no bugs this is one of the best games i have ever played, and i've been playing games since '79!

Was going to make a topic about how great this is!! More Z's i say, where as before it was more about watching other players now its about watching everything that moves!! Btw i have only 12hrs game time, been killed 4 times and yet the huge amount of z's does not bother me, it makes me work harder to get that extra loot ;) **edit scratch that 17hrs play time ;D

I love 3rd person in this game and tbh 1st person when running gives me a headache!!

Ok to start off with i have ARMA II and Operation Arrowhead, both bought separate but through Steam Made a directory here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@dayz\Addons Extracted 14 files into that Addons folder Dl'd the ARMA II launcher 1.4.0.0, started that no sign of any mod in there Start game by right clicking OA in Steam then clicking on CO, game loads up and i see loads of dayz servers, click on one then get this error message at the bottom of the server list "You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.dayz_code, dayz_weapons, dayz_equip, dayz_vehicles" thx for any help!

Soeg you seem to be the go to guy so here is my problem! I already owned ARMA II and have just tonight bought Operation Arrowhead, both games bought from Steam. now i have gone into this directory and made the following 2 folders for the mod C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@dayz\Addons dragged all the rar files of the mod into the Addons folder and extracted into there, then deleted the rar files. Downloaded the ARMA II Launcher - 1.4.0.0 that this guy mentions in his tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ib73cBf_-Ys&list=LLiiSLK4xkBjF4f-8qNDXgLQ&feature=mh_lolz When i open up the launcher and change the game version to ARMA II - CO in the drop down box at the bottom the dayz add on folder still doesn't appear. I've gone to Steam and right clicked OA and launched CO from that which then finds dayz servers. I have clicked on any amount, i start to connect then i'm greeted with this message at the bottom of the server list : files deleted dayz_code dayz_equip dayz_vehicles and dayz_weapons. Cheers for any help bud!

Can i just buy the Op Arrowhead expansion pack for this mod to work guys? thx!!
