Honestly, for my post I did almost 0 research because I was knowledgeable in most things I was talking about. I may have gotten how some things work wrong so forgive me if I did.

Hey guys, I decided to make another suggestion list with a lot of stuff because I have some original ideas that would improve the game without making it autistic. Also, if you can refrain from being disrespectful that would be great. Also, if you could refer to the number of the suggestion you are talking about in your comment that would be great! ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1.) Riot Shield: It would be a good defensive tool to add to the game. No game has really perfected making the riot shield. It's either too breakable or invincible and other problems like not even being able to hold a weapon. So there is a bunch of things we can do with a riot shield like make it so you can reinforce it, allow shooting pistols/saw off's. Anyways, the way to counter the shield would be to shoot it and such. It should be able to withstand bullets pretty well. Maybe certain ammo rounds don't do much damage and higher cal rounds do more. Like a .380 only does 2% damage. I don't think it would take a while to balance it out when added. I was thinking that shooting rounds into the shield within a small radius of each other does more damage to the shield, that's how it pretty much works in real life. If you shoot 500 bullets far apart at the shield it would block it all, shooting in one general radius would break it quickly. I think it's a pretty good idea. Another good thing would be letting the shields use melee. Russian riot shields are generally strong so I wouldn't really allow ranged weaponry to be used. Using something like a Stun Baton, Police Baton, or other things like that should be possible. Honestly, if you can't out maneuver a shield then you shouldn't even bother commenting about it being powerful. If all they can use is melee and you have something ranged and you don't know how to try running around a shield then that's kinda your fault, not the shields. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 2.) Gun Shops: Having gun shops in the game that contain accessories and other weapons for you to rob would be great. Special weapons and random accessories should spawn there. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 3.) Improvised Tent: I don't know if this has been suggested or not but I think this is a genius idea. Being able to craft a tent with sticks and other stuff would probably make the game a big better because it makes normal tents more special and people can easily store their gear. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 4.) Flint Lock Pistol: I am no expert in this but I thought it would be cool to have. Fancier houses could have a chance to spawn it. I think the ammo should be very rare but it can be crafted. The cap and ammunition should be required to fire it. If there was a system where you could right click a bullet and take it apart or something like that for the gunpowder the pistol would be great. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 5.) This suggestion is going to be a pretty cool one. What if there was some sort of system where you scan people and you can see if they have a bounty on their head and other stuff. I think if I put it in a step process you would understand easier. 1.) Go up to a computer or tablet. 2.) Search the players name while he is in the server. 3.) Click "Create Bounty" and then select items you want to pay from a drop down box that lists inventory items. You can also type a description. 4.) Click "Place Bounty". 5.) Walk up to a mail box and put the items in. 6.) After 12 hours (in game time) if everything was done correctly they will be placed as a bounty on the system. The set up part seems pretty legit and original. I believe it would fit in perfectly cause it is not an automatic system that robs the inventory items and then automatically does pretty much everything. For the bounty claiming part here is how it should go... 1.) Scan players (face must be in sight) till you find the right person. Information on the person pops up each time you scan. If you get someone with a bounty it will show all the information about the bounty like the reward, reason, character name. 2.) Kill the player. 3.) Scan the player. After complete the program will show you where to get your reward. It tells you where the reward is. 4.) Go to reward location and take it from the mail box. So yeah, it is more on the realistic side and won't ruin the immersion of the game with the possibility of increasing it. Of course the system doesn't have to be like this so if you don't like it try to think about how you would improve it. It feels less automatic and makes more sense because you have to do everything pretty much manually and you have to wait a bit before the bounty can be placed. There is a bunch that needs to be added and of course it will be a while before it is completed. What do you guys think? ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 6.) Different unlock method for doors that are locked. When a door is locked you can shoot it or whatever to open it. I think that to actually open it you have to shoot the locks to actually open it instead of just shooting at anywhere. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 7.) Grenade Tossing Adjusted: Smokes and flashes should get tossed underhand while grenades are thrown over hand. Flashes and smokes are mainly for closer ranges (at least the ones in game are). Flashes aren't meant to be thrown far. They are meant for clearing rooms and stuff like that. It would definitely make the game feel better when throwing things like that. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 8.) Improved Heli Crash: So this suggestion is kinda related to the suggestion I made on my last post about magazines being in weapons you find. I suggest that instead of doing that, all guns at heli crashes have a mag/clip in them. It makes more sense for that to happen instead of random weapons having random amounts of ammo. I think that this is a much better suggestion. Honestly it makes no sense that guns in heli crashes are completely empty. This would make Heli crashes much more exciting so no one goes like "Wow a heli crash, I am going to get a gun and then spend 5 hours looking for a magazine." ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 9.) Better well positions: Some cities have too much wells, others have too little. I know for a fact that in the airfields there are a lack of wells. At NW airfield (or SW, IDK) there is a lack of wells. There are some areas on the airfield where you have to walk 1-2 kilometers just to get to the well. It is super obnoxious. When I am at the airfield I don't think "WOW, an airfield! It's time to loot and have fun." I think this: "Well... Time to save 4 water bottles and then prepare to walk a crap load just to hydrate. It's annoying... ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 10.) Decrease dehydration time: Honestly this one does not need much explaining. Just ask any player and they will dislike how thirsty they get. I drink a lot of water within a day but not as much as in game. You might as well call dayz characters mobile oceans. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Thanks for replying, Tigermonk! You do raise some valid points. For the suggestion I think it should be incorporated because people who do get the first hit should be rewarded with the opponent being weaker. Too many people survive the first shots and end up taking out the attacker because they drew their weapon at a lightspeed pace. People who get shot a bunch should have consequences. That would discourage people from running around just trying I get cheap kills COD style.

1.) You know how if your pistol is near the top of your backpack an item that is picked up can take up the space while your pistol is out? I am sure everyone finds it annoying. A simple fix would be to have a reserve space system where you can right click an item and then select "Reserve Space" so no items can take up the space. If your backpack has no extra slots and you try to pick up something it would not go in your backpack. To unreserved space you simply right click any slot and click "Remove Reseved Space". You can also make it so the reserved space is highlighted. Another cool thing you can do is right click empty spaces and drag to select each slot. When you let go of right click an option comes up to reserve spaces for either Food, Weapons, Ammo, or MISC. ________________________ 2.) Items in the backpack take a few seconds longer to pull out. The first row of the backpack could take shorter and the bottom rows take longer. Time delays depend on what backpack you have (smaller backpacks = quicker action). ________________________ 3.) Injured players take longer to pull out items or other actions like that. If you shoot someone in the leg it's harder for them to walk until healed. If you hit their chest/arms it's harder to pull out items. ________________________ 4.) Houses have randomly locked doors. To get in you can choose to be quiet (lock pick) or break it (loud option). This could also lead to crowbars having the use to make a low amount of noise to open doors by scrolling and clicking "Pry Open". I think this would be a pretty big game changer because people have to put some thought into their actions. ________________________ 5.) Ability to fill canteens/bottles with soda or other drinks. Maybe one can fills it up by 25 percent. ________________________ 6.) Different type of water bottles that are bigger (or current ones hold more water). I know we are all tired of loosing that bright green hydration so fast. ________________________ 7.) Flash bangs should be improved. Larger Radius/Longer flash time. Flash bangs are super useless because the effects wear off too fast and I've had tons thrown at me that did nothing or flashed me for 2 seconds. People don't use them as much anymore because it does not do much. ________________________ 8.) Grenades should be able to be thrown further. I have tried throwing flash bangs and grenades. They don't go too far. Even at max range while throwing a grenade it has a chance to injure/kill you. ________________________ 9.) The higher you aim your gun the less accurate (when at higher angles). This would help increase strategic positioning in houses/hills. ________________________ 10.) All guns spawn with a magazine inside the gun (full). If you are too afraid of letting players having one magazine then you shouldn't have the gun in the first place. ________________________ 11.) Ability to see if gun is on double fire mode or not. Usually I have to check by firing. Not the best thing to do. Maybe have a "Check Fire Mode" option. ________________________ 12.) Punching hard material should injur the players hand. It's kinda annoying that people can punch helmets and damage them so easily. Most helmets prevent the user from feeling much from punches or light hitting attacks. Punching doors to open them is pretty annoying too. Hard material should injured them depending on how many times they hit the material and depending on what it is. ________________________ So I hope you liked reading this kinda unique suggestions! I hope there is a lot of feedback about the suggestions!

House doors (front doors) should be locked by default. That way players have to break into houses. They can use a lockpick to make less noise or pretty much anything else. If a player is making too much noise zombies within a small radius should walk slightly closer. Anyone like this idea? I like it because its completely boring when looting in DayZ. Any player can loot up and be super equipped while completely silent because there is nothing that requires them to make noise besides opening the doors. It is not a big game changer but it would make the game feel more immersive because you actually have to think about your actions. Do you want to make noise and possibly attract players or find another silent way to get in? This could also lead to crowbars having a scroll option on doors to open them with just a little noise. You guys like this idea :D ?

I am pretty excite for the next DayZ SA update. Does anyone know when the update will be coming out? Also what can we expect in the new update?
