Hey guys, An update to our adventure - Jason managed to find a really good campsite with a Ural, V3S and a couple of tents. We raided the tents and loaded the trucks. However it didn't end well. We jumped in the vehicles and started to head north through the trees. We go 750m - 1 click away from the raided base and a sniper with an AS50 picked Jason off from distance. I slung a hard right and bailed to try and lay down some fire with my thermal LA82 but eventually got picked off myself. We did find satchel charges in the truck, is it possible a hacker may have spawned these in? I've never seen them in the game before? We did find it a bit suspicious that a guy was in the middle of no where on the edge of the map. Maybe he realised we were stealing their loot and spawned there? Who knows.... We're gonna move the base and then post what server we're on.

The problem if i give you the server location you'll get the grid co-ordinates for our base as well. :P

Thought it smelt a bit fishy. Reckon that guys may have been hacking. Shame hackers are spoling it a bit!

OMG we had an amazing game a couple of nights ago. We heard some shots being fired in the vicinity of Solnichiy, so our 5 man squad decided to head over in that direction. When we got about half a click away we managed to locate them coming out of the long barn building. To cut a long story short, we searched the town and the area around it but we lost track of her. Then they somehow managed to come around the back of us.... See the vid, this is what makes DayZ so amazing! I totally pooped it :-) If this was you, send me a message cos we still can't work out how you managed to get around the back of us.

Defo, it was pure luck i was looking that way and come off the thermal sight just at the right moment. She gave me a massive fright!! It's true to say DayZ does make you a bit on edge!!

We're coming back for you tonight!!!!! We had an epic game last night and found a clans ammo dump, tents, vehicles and loads of other kit. We pinched a lot of their gear, but my machine kept quitting and they took it back. But we're coming back for you tonight, so be warned. And this time we're bringing backup!!! It's war!

We should get loads of us together and conduct a massive raid on them?

Ok it's a UK server, not saying anymore than that. Otherwise every Tom, Dick and Harry will be doing the same thing as us.

I'd rather not disclose that incase they start moving kit about or if someone else starts trying their luck. We monitored them and it looked like they had a secondary site.

Hey, I totally agree. Never really enjoying playing Arma during the night, but this mod totally transforms the game! Had so many action pack fights during the night, trying to get away from Zombies and Civ's. Night seems to be the safest time to move about and try avoid the Bandits. Just need to find some parts for the chopper now!!!
