Admins cant restart the map, client data is stored remotely on the hive so even if they could it would make little difference. secondly you cant edit the server.cfg file whilst the process is running so if it came back with a different name then it 100% was restarted. If it was restarted soon after you saved the vehicle then its possible that, that data wasnt issued to the hive (it doesnt constantly stream) and the car simply reverted to its last "real" save point on restart. -

Some screwed up logic in this thread tbh. Saying "if rocket wanted rid of them he would purge the hive" is utterly flawed, if rocket wanted then IN, they would be in from the start!. If your using a scripted in weapon after you have been made aware of it being scripted then your cheating. If your not part of the solution, your part of the problem. Just keep telling yourself you've done nothing wrong. -

Cheating appears to be either an intended feature or supported. At this time I don't know which however everything i'm seeing suggests one or both scenarios. -

Same here mate, running the server is to much grief, im beaten tbh. Game regardless of status has become a farce. I cant see what testing data is useful tbh when I'm running round as a fucking dog lol. -

Problem is you can't truly simulate loss in a game. At the end of the day you turn off the pc and goto bed, regardless of what happens you can never suffer real loss and thus there can never be a true deterrent to recklessness which is what banditory is at its base level. -

Tbh Meepo I agree that it is / would be an easy mistake, however he's so desperate for it to be us (for an unknown reason I'll add) that its unlikely that he processed much beyond the S. Like I said he's genitally pumped for us. Maybe he's someone we rejected during a recruitment process, who knows..... All that aside its (and this) is detracting from the threads target, even if it is bumping it. -

Your ability to stream HD content is pretty much irrelevant as far as a game server is concerned; your media player/OS buffers it so that you can stream it relatively well even on a poor connection. The issue is your geo location in respect to the servers you are trying to join. It doesn’t matter how amazing your connection is data transfer is governed by the laws of physics and even though its traveling at close to the speed of light each packet is still having to traverse half the globe and back if you are in the US trying to connect to Europe. Its just a fact of the internet and its unlikely to ever change unless someone does something funky with entangled particles :P -

No, when you join a server you receive an equal share of entitlement, IE join a 50 player server you receive 1/50th. If your 1/50th is ruining it for the other 49/50th then expect something to be done about it. -

500ms is a half second desync and is totally un-acceptable, we have ours on 220ms and I consider that to be too high tbh. There is no reason to expect the other 49 players in a server to suffer the consequence of either your poorly configured network or the crappy ISP that you are using. -
