If you’re caught / spotted on UK22 with an illegal weapon you will be asked to remove it, it will then be checked that you have indeed removed it. If you don’t remove it (or leave as most people who want to cheat will do) you will be kicked to make way for someone who isn’t cheating, if you return with it you will be banned.

They were scripts in the scripts.log that actually had the word "teleport" in them :P Reformatted and updated.

UK 22 - Is there any way to reset vehicles ?

Almost since the first day that Heli's were released into the game (1 month ago ?) the heli on UK 22 was found and crashed in the sea. Since that time it now only spawns in the sea and explodes as soon as anyone tries to move it. Is there any way that the vehicles can be reset on a server so that they return to random / original positions ? -

Its owned by jwiechers who is part of the community team here and also a server admin. Gogster and myself are admins over there also. The forum is independent in that its run by server admins for other server admins but as we stated in the original thread we welcome (and look forward to) participation from the DayZ and BI chaps if they can spare the time. The sole intention of it is to work with them if possible and to absolutely uphold the server hosting rules for DayZ as set out by the team. -

Perhaps, Is there a problem with that. No we own our server its sat in a data centre. I'm more concerned with yet another thread being deleted that contained information that was having a huge impact on the level of cheating going on.

Several of the main reasons I voted for independent are now seemingly apparent; 1. The thing would have been up and running now and we could be starting to work together. 2. Content control, I am appalled that disorder's Cheat Finder thread has been deleted. We have few enough tools at our disposal and yet here we are (again) having access to apps that will help up removed. I honestly can’t see this being any different in a forum (if it actually ever happens now I’ll add) that is ultimately controlled by someone also on the "team" http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/74616-cheatfinder/ To clarify I welcome involvement from the Dev team, just not control.

I tell you they support cheating, despite all the posturing to the contrary just about every move they make, makes me think this more and more. This is why I hoped Gogsters idea of an enternal forum had taken off.

I'm banning for xcompiled atm. The way I see it nobody should need to be running external scripts. If your in my remotexec.log its a short journey to my ban file. -
Can any other admins please check to see if their server is still producing scripts.log. I'm not sure if there was a BE update but at 5:50am this morning some chap ran a multitude of scripts on our server and was then kicked with a #90 restriction and since that point the server has stopped logging. I've rebooted it to no avail. Any Ideas ?

I think this is pretty much the crux of it and either way Its going to be set up by Gogster.

The way I read is that the advantages lay in that the forum is hosted on a dedicated box that means integration is easier, not that there will be any integration within or to the Dayz back end. Also Jens has stated that its independent to the Dev team, it just so happens that he has a forum going spare and is on the community team. He also sounds like he doesn’t want to head it up either and would be looking for others to get it going (which is fine). So in summery the only advantage is in the control of the forum software, there is no integration to the back end implied, nor any guarantee that a DayZ dev will sign up.

Jens has already said that it would be independent from the Dayz devs and they wouldn’t be controlling it. Also it wouldn’t be a case of existing admins with instance numbers being transferred across. If that was that easy then it would be a task that would have been undertaken on this forum I’m sure so you will still need to apply to join that forum. The whole thing at the moment is looking rather convoluted.
