In Arma 2 OA, there's an animation that holsters your pistol, it's not in DayZ unless you're switch to your rifle.

I would like to appeal for the ban of a whole clan known as XXT that also play on the server US 1841. The reason is, they are the only other people who play on the server that my clan (and our allied clan) are on. We have been hacked twice now, and they are the only people on the server. I spent all of today finding cars that they stole from us, and succeeded. We then stole all their vehicles and hacked in weapons. What next? I wake up after a booming headache to hear we were robbed! By who? The bloody XXT. So there. If they are not banned then at least I want others to know that this group are a bunch of scumbags who came on our server, fucking suck at PvP, and hack to win. If they are banned I would like to thank the person in charge of doing so, if this is the wrong place for a swift banning I would like to know so that these pathetic fuckers can be banned. I haven't seen the server admin on in quite some time so I can't directly address him about this.

Correction, you can kill the fuck out of bandits as much as your heart desires. You actually gain humanity!

My hero skin saved my ass already in Cherno of all places.... Won't do shit for me against bandits but hey, their what makes this game fun ;)

Try and go for something more quiet. I got attacked by two bandits in (I think a red Skoda) and I heard and saw them before they saw me, so I had some time to plan it out if things got choppy (and it sure as hell did). End of the day, I had enough gear to supply the Spec Ops, a totaled car, one dead bandit, the other Alt F4'd, and me needing painkillers.

100% silent for me, all I hear is a click of the trigger; only aim for head on zombies, and if paired w/ NVG then it "can" be used against players. However a M4A1 CCO SD will be a much better gun for that. Cheers for the find though!

Theres now Bandit skins for negative humanity and a hero skin (that I have) with 5000 or more humanity, I was in Cherno doing a medic mission for someone when two people on direct had me at gun point, one wanted to shoot me even though I was unarmed and the other told him that I wasn't any threat because of my hero skin. So hey, things are beginning to come back together. Not saying bandits won't shoot me but hey, thats surviving the PvP of DayZ.

You'll be able to tell, their much more vibrant colored. Aka, they look much different than the ones that are destroyed. When you go next to them a driving wheel or seat will pop up. If their a humvee or rusted, their no good.
