Merely jesting at the idea of trading explosives in such a DM style game (at the moment atleast). A possible chance for said explosives to be found, but in not as fun circumstances for the other trader. Ka-boom.

Meh, naw. I don't like it. I mean go for it, but I would never even consider going there. The majority of the people who bought this game after it became popular aren't worth talking with in my honest opinion. Not being Arma hipster, just saying the maturity of the community has greatly decreased.

Eh, if you're dieing to play it then go for it, it's worth the buy. But if you want refined, less hacked, (hopefully less DM), then wait awhile.

Definitely no NPCs, this is DayZ not WoW, as for economy. Eh, surviving is supposed to be a challenge, trading should be a trusting game.. trust the person enough to lower your weapon, you're prolly gonna die. And if you became a "rich person" why would you leave your fortress of the wasteland eh? You would be able to hire people to do the life risking shit. Which is why I like what your saying, but I don't agree. Plus I was kinda hoping this would be a post for a future-style DayZ suggestion, think about it. Jet packs, lasers, zombies, "Whose "pew pew"ing in Cherno?"

Yeah, theres a bunch of things I have issues with too, and I agree with what you are saying here. I mean except just because you got shot doesn't mean you'll die right away, granted, you're not gonna make it with even one clear shot to the head or several to the torso, but you'll be able to pull the trigger before you're gone. Plus a lot of people forget that this is alpha, so that one word can sometimes make people stop bitching and complaining for a moment (not saying you were) and think a moment :)

Meh, the only reason I hate hackers is because they don't give a shit about other people's experiences with the game, just because their bored doesn't give them the right to mass kill a whole server. Listen, I've said it before and I'll tell it again, I used to have an FN FAL w/ NV, all the gear I'd ever need, Nv goggles, rangefinder, GPS, M4A1 Holo as a backup, camo armor, it was sweet. But then the entire server up and died right then and there... no offense to you, but I lost months worth of looting, fighting off bandits, holding up against all of Vybor in the school, countless broken limbs and bullet wounds. To die to some asshole who decided to would be fun for shits and giggles to kill everyone with a simple command. I would not give a shit about that lost gear by now if a bandit had killed me, know why? He would have deserved it. He bested me in DayZ and got the reward where dozens of others are now dead. But no, my gear was gone, the server was down, and all because of some prick with not enough women to fill his free time.

Yeah quite honestly DayZ becoming popular was very bad for it.. the amount of kids with way too much free time on their hands that lack any sort of maturity have become unbearable and aside from the hacking they've pretty much made this game a 100% KOS... I'm on hiatus currently due to losing months worth of gear on a single character due to some jackass mass killing the whole server.

Listen, I'm a pure survivor. Never kill unless self-defense or untrusting of someone. But no man, PvP is part of this game. But KOS is the true problem. And the real solution to that is proper ammo tracking, no ammo resets, and less ammo spawn chances. I want each bullet someone shoots to have meaning, whether it be for supplies, to kill someone for their supplies, to eliminate a threat, w/e. I want challenge. Bandits are challenge and fun to kill. Don't QQ, improve.

Meh, I play for the experience w/ my friends, and good gear is the goal of that experience. A friendly competition for who can get the best. And for me to lose it to hackers is a pain in my ass. It's hours just wasted for not just me but for everyone else on the server.

\I've been playing for... wow, too long now. And I haven't seen hackers up until recently, and they've blown up. Well, literally, I've been blown up twice now. By a jet and by some asshole throwing satchel charges. And other times by jackasses who are somehow invincible to .50 cal bullets at point blank range. So I agree with the post but only somewhat. I want servers to actually perma-ban people who hack the game because honestly their ruining the experience for the rest of us. I mean, it's a harsh punishment but it's the best way to bring an end to hacking. I've lost some of the rarest gear in the game to hackers who kill a whole server for shits and giggles and honestly, it's fucking weak. If I lost it to a bandit who outsmarted and outplayed me then I don't complain whatsoever. I actually give kudos to them. But hackers are the lowest of the low.

I for one almost never kill on sight, I've been playing the mod from the start and I still find more enjoyment in helping people with medical supplies/food/water, killing zeds, you name it. But in self defense I always find shoot outs adrenalin-pumping goodness. So I love bandits. I love this mod and play with dozens of people. But my gameplay has honestly been ruined by the goddamn asshole motherfuckers out there who go about sniping people who just spawn in for mere fun. It pisses me off and ruins immersion. Think about it, just woke up on Chernarus, things are weird, zombies going crazy. You take a few steps then *bam* sniper blew off your head. It's fucking weak. I hate how this game has gone popular because people are fucking ruining it. Not to mention the hackers. I fucking hate hackers with a passion. I love bandits though, I love them because their a good challenge to survival and fun necessarily part of DayZ. Fuck the new kids KOS, fuck the "veterans" who are so damn bored they want to ruin it for the rest of us, and lastly, fuck the hackers that are bringing this mod to hell. To the medics, cheers and kudos. To the true bandits, cheers. To my fellow survivors, cheers. The rest, fuck off and die.

Well someone by the name of Cameroon in the server posted just blew me up while in the general store of Elecktro. It's w/e a hacker previously just killed a whole server. But w/e. I'll take a hiatus from this game until hackers have been dealt with.

I saw a horde of nuns coming out after me while at Kabanino. I missed a lot because I was laughing too hard at the monkey nuns.

Bandits aren't a problem. Their part of the game and their a good challenge. It's the idiots that go about killing unarmed people or kill people just for target practice. Their the sort that have made this game lesser than how great it should be. Just saying, I mean I like what your suggesting, really funny. Just I say bandits should always be a part of surviving. Since when has an Apocalypse happened where everyone got together, sang, and were jolly.
