I like the FN FAL because it's the perfect player killing rifle. I mean, I don't bandit, but when I do get attacked I always win with a ton of ammo to spare. And dude, no, zombies are something you're supposed to AIM for the HEAD. Think about it kid.

Let's just get rid of all the guns and the snipers. Then this can truely be a jogging, driving, and bean hoarding simulator

Meh, I trade with friends or fellow unarmed people. Goes perfectly fine that way. I mean I have traded weapons for food and drink with people and got out of it unscathed but only because I gave them my weapon for food I desperately needed.

1. It's been said before but PvP is part of DayZ. It's life and that's that. The majority of people KOS, I for one don't and have made numerous friends in the process. I've had to kill in self defense countless more times and have also died many times through not shooting first. 2. Saying friendly in Cherno is the biggest invitation to "hey shoot me I have many delicious beans" 3. Hackers are rampant. They suck but are getting banned daily, and in the Standalone it will nearly completely be solved. 4. Protect your beans.

I've found everything from SVD camo, to FN FAL NV, to M4a1 CCO SD. But I love me some m1014. Shotguns are the way I go.

It's not like the hackers are rocket's fault. It's damn large youtube channels and shit. That have an average viewer age of 14-18 that are primarily FPS shooter freaks or complete nerds. They hack into DayZ and just mess shit up because they don't care about other player's experiences. Now, I'm glad it's gotten popularity because Rocket deserves the whole "praise" thing. But god damn people are stupid mother fuckers.

Hey buddy, your preaching to the choir and all, but complaining about something that is out of Rocket's power isn't going to help anyone, we know theres hackers. We hate hackers. Hackers ARE making the game impossible to play for everyone else. But good news, stand alone is coming! That WILL be a fine solution. So just wait it out man.

I already bought and owned Arma 2 and CO for the game. DayZ was just an extra 200 hours of playing for me. I will without a doubt buy the standalone.

Naw Dead Island was a a let down tbh. I'm thinking it'll be more of a third person type game, kinda MMO. I'm not going to get it but that doesn't mean you shouldn't

I say you should just wait for WarZ that'll probably be more your style.

Listen I know that the Arma engine can be modded so you can have different animations, so why not in some future patch make executions possible? I don't like the whole, unload a clip to kill a bandit, meh, anti climactic showdown. I want it to be possible to take him down, cripple him, put him on his knees then blow the roof of his skull off with a 1911. Maybe that's just me? But I feel like whenever I kill a bandit I haven't insulted him enough, just besting the hunter isn't good enough sometimes and when they have 30+ kills it would be all the more rewarding. But on a more serious less dream-like note, I think possible animations like putting your hands behind your head while on the ground (I know it's already in Arma). And being able to rob someone while their like that would be a cool experience to someday add into the mod. Especially if the addition of making ammo more rare and having it better tracked was implemented. I think there would be a lot less DM and a lot more player interaction that doesn't end with with unloading almost a full clip into someone without a care. Not saying I don't want PvP because that's one of the game's best features.

Kid, just leave the game on and starve to death. Or hope your GPS works in water and have your friend fish you out.
