The beginning and end of your post don't really synch. You really want the rarest and most difficult gear in the game to be ridiculously abundant? If you aren't attached to your gear, why wouldn't you want a wipe? Sorry it's a bit late, and I'm ridiculously tired so maybe I'm reading it incorrectly but I'm slightly confused about where you stand.

Well the gear on each character wouldn't be entirely necessary to get rid of to destroy all of the the excess rare items in circulation. Though, I certainly wouldn't mind losing my fully decked out character and tents and vehicles if it meant balancing the game for everyone. It's odd to me that some folks would rather keep their gear that can be reattained with a bit of work and see the survival atmosphere die as a result. It's good to see people that agree with me for different reasons, and good to see others disagree as well. I just wish I could understand the selfish desire to hang on to a bit of gear and sacrifice the balance and integrity of the mod as a whole.

Why not? An inventory wipe of tents and vehicles would be doing far more good than harm, in my opinion. I realize a great many people have worked hard to accumulate everything they need to live for months in game if they choose. Again, I am willing to give up my hard earned items to balance the game. We will not have these things forever anyhow, but there are thousands of "counterfeit" items in the game at the moment that are flat out breaking the vision of the mod.

^What The Hopper said. As I said, they have to address one thing at a time, and I admit they have bigger fish to fry. We can't jump down their throats for not being omniscient beings that fix every problem before they realize it exists. However, this is a rather large balance issue and I'd like to see it closer to the top of the list. Pull some strings Curgon!!! :P

Your whole topic is so full of fail so I'll only touch on one ridiculously stupid line. Didn't you know that slowed zombies can then be ditched? You cannot be calling people stupid while not being able to spell some very basic words, come on. You're awful. Everyone else sucked when they started too. We stuck with it, and guess what! We are better players now. I barely ever aggro a zombie, and when I do I can ditch them easily by following the steps mentioned previously. Instead of ignorantly resisting helpful advice, take it. Get better, don't piss and moan for hundreds of people to see and heckle you. Or don't. Stop playing and go buy a new game you like, instead of bitching about a free mod in it's earliest stages of development.

Thanks! I just miss the feel of having earned my gear, not stumbling across tent after tent of loot that took me weeks to accumulate before. It's gotten out of hand, and it needs to be fixed. Much respect to Rocket and team, I know they have to handle things in the order they do for a reason. This is just my two cents.

As the mod is in alpha phase, your gear is inconsequential. You'll lose it anyways. I should add that I am not at all having any difficulty finding weapons (not sure how you got that out of my post), in fact it's the opposite. I used to have to struggle and fight to get my gear, now when I die I can have a full set of "endgame" gear within an hour. This is wrong. I also have tents full of things I worked my ass off to get, I'm suggesting that they be burned as well. You can take out whatever you want to keep, and put it back in the tent after the purge. As it is, however, the mod has shifted from survival to hoarding (which is a playstyle I confess to using). In most cases, these tents have been duplicated and the items are not legitimate anyhow. I was under the impression that the tent's duplication glitch had been addressed with the newest patch, if I'm wrong then this would be pointless. My ideal situation would be regular wipes when new patches come out, to keep the struggle in the game. At the very least, there must be at least one wipe after the duplication has been resolved. It's cool if you disagree, I also have many tents full of honest loot. However, I am willing to sacrifice mine to take care of the massive inflation of ultra rare loot (and in effect, balance issues) resulting from a glitch that's overstayed it's welcome. Please elaborate if you think this is a bad idea. I'm interested to see other people's input or I wouldn't have posted this here.
