  1. I actualy realy like not spawning with a weapon. It kinda feels like playing Amnesia. I think the difficulty is acceptble.

    I tried sneaking around balota aiefield with no food, no water and no weapons. I managed to find aAKM with 2 mags and a grenade. However i was in desperate need of food and water so i rushed to cherno and looted some apartments. Found 1 can of food and soda just to get me by.

    I love the sense of desperation and the panic of no food that this mod gives you. Since the new spawn syatem iv met many cooperative players and met someone where both of us were shouting down the mic "drop the gun" repeatedly. I dont know about you but those encounters are much more fun that the shoot in sight bullshit we used to see everywhere.


  2. All zombies in all movies are always attracted to sound. Its the way it is. Now theres two things i want to bring up here.

    One is shooting in a town. There realy should be huge penalties for this. We all know that its suicide firing a gun off in the middle of a zombie infested town. Why isnt it in dayz? Every choice should have consequenses in this game. You see a survivor in a town and he has a gun. Do you shoot? Dont you? If you dont, he might shoot you. If you do and manage to kill him now you have to deal with the whole town or atleast a large amount of the town coming after you.

    Secondly, please make thunder server side...and allow it to make the zombies more active when they hear it. It would be an absolutely nerve wracking sight to see zombies suddenly become very agressive because of the thunder.

    Imagine sneaking around, everything is going fine and then it starts raining. You think oh its fine its just rain, then you see lightning and then hear thunder. The zombies are realy active all of a sudden and you are in deep trouble. I think it could create some interesting situations.


  3. First of all this is not my idea. I read this somewhere a few days ago but couldnt find it again. I am just expanding on the idea.

    As we all know the easiest way to find loot is to kill another player. This is obviously encouraging killing on stupidly unrealisticly wide scale. (no gun at start has helped fix this but not fully) Dont get me wrong, killing other players is obviously part of the game but it has become a problem.

    Now the idea i saw on here a few days ago was to have a chance of having loot a player is carrying to be destroyed when shot. It makes sense if you think about it. Obviously if you get shot in the head gear will not be destroyed unless its NV goggles which makes then even more rare if theres a chance of them being destroyed.

    Here a some examples:

    If a player is carrying a map and gets shot, theres a chance it has a blood stain on it covering part of the map and unable to read that area.

    Compass becomes useless and doesnt point north.

    Thes rest of the items in your backpack or inventory just have a chance of being destroyed. (maybe about 25%)

    I also think it would be a pretty good idea if backpacks would lose items if they are shot. For instance, if a player shoots another simply because he had an alice pack and he happens to shoot him in the back then the backpack now has a hole in it and has a chance of randomly dropping gear. (i think you should also be able to fix the bag however, but would have to find the items to do so)

    So what do you guys think?
