it's not full proof. There are some servers out there with issues. I've also seen a couple of servers that the server name says they are on one version when they are actually on a different version.

Getting stuck on coast is NOT some anti-server hopping feature. It is an issue with your location data getting corrupted when you alt+f4 after getting stuck at loading screen. Don't want to get stuck at loading screen and then get put on the coast? ...... Make sure you are joining a server that is running the same dayz + arma2oa beta version.

no you were not hacked. Take a look in the forums and you'll see this has happened to many. getting stuck at loading and alt+f4'ing = spawning at the coast.

actually it doesn't work. I've found threads that have server names in them and the search does not bring them up in results.

yeah I think something is up. all of sudden I got kicked trying to join my home server and have tried several other servers with the same issue.

make sure you are trying to joing servers running the same dayz and arma version as you. Otherwise you will get stuck at loading.

it's because it's using the same cd key. You can't just give your friend the game for free. How about your friend, instead of stealing the game, actually spend money and by the damn thing.

no message recieved means the server is rebooting. and if it takes you 4 hours to get the game to work you really need to look in the mirror to see where the issue lies.

from what you describe it sounds like you are getting very low fps. You might want to list what your pc specs are (gpu,cpu,ram)

1) are you sure they are up to date? latest dayz: 1.7.2.5 and arma2oa beta: 95883 2) are you using some program to update? If so, then you might not be updated. You should do it manually anyways. 3) are you joining a server running the same version as you? (both dayz and arma)

ffs people. STOP USING PROGRAMS TO UPDATE YOUR GAME!!!!! manually updaing is EASY! There are several guides out there to show you how. google it.

yes soldiers clothing is a hacked in item. do not use it or you will run the risk of getting yourself banned.

google it. there are plenty of guides out there.

first of all, make sure you are joining servers that are running the same version as you. You also need to make sure you are not joining a server that has a private hive. Now the reason people are spawning on the coast......this usually happens when someone gets stuck at loading and exits out. And....people generally get stuck at loading when they're joining a server NOT running the same version as they are.
