ultimateburger, the game will not degrade in quality after a while if it's a legitimate purchase. The game will degrade if it has been pirated.

The zombies sliding around and teleporting is part of the game at the moment. You're just going to have to deal with it at the moment.

I've always hated modems that are also a router. Anyways, try using an Ethernet cable and see if that solves it. When you say it's hard to find a "totally clear channel ever", what do you mean by that? The lag could also be coming from one of your friends in the house that's downloading some naughty stuff ;)

Woah, calm down big boy. Tents need to be placed on really flat land. At the moment, placing tents is really hard to do because of how sensitive they are for placing in flat land. As Soldier said, just keep trying, it will eventually place.

You expect to get 50+ fps on high settings with an i3 and 6770? Ha! This game rapes any non-custom built pc out there. You may be able to run BF3 on ultra, but the best you can get out of this mod is normal settings (1080x720). I have the same gpu, but with an i7. :)

Yes. Your CD Key is in your Arma 2 file in Regedit. I don't know how to input or switch CD Keys through this method. You might just have to share the same character until he gets his own pc. :\

Don't run Combined Operations. Just Operation Arrowhead. Also, is your beta patch updated? Day Z on 1.7.1.5?

Characters are connected to the CD Key. Did your brother get your character when he first logged on?

My character is always faster than my friends when we run or crouch. What I've noticed was that you run faster with your primary out than with your secondary out.

Don't go on lowest settings. Try normal or low.

Put your settings on normal. Lower your shadow settings in the advance tab. Try that.

Server names generally have it in the title. An example would be: "Atlanta 31 [1.7.1.5/93965] - dayzmod.com [3P: OFF/CH: OFF]"

Few people get this error too. It is harmless and won't affect game play. If you are running off Steam, run Steam as administrator and this should get rid of this error.

"LAPTOP" - There's you problem. :) I forget which way this goes but when you put your settings on low, the game is more cpu dependent. If you put it on high, it is gpu dependent. The low fps is for everyone. It has improved from previous patches, though.
