Hmm atm i play on a private Guru Abduls server, he has a custom made antycheat that stops some of the cheats, as for the rest - the server is passworded and has a whitelist meaning u can only play once u have the pass and ur game ID is added to the list and for that u need to have 10 posts on the server forum and be approved by the admins. Cheats still happen, but whenever u see them u just do a screenshot - and the admins check everyone that were on the server at that time - remove the cheater from the white list and its ok, in the event of a all kill there is a rollback - server backups every half hour. So far its much better than the official rocket servers and the amount of cheats is quite minimal. The server is populated almost like the official ones - 3-5 ppl in the middle of the night/ around 15 in the morning/50 throughout the day/ and 20-30 evening-night.

yep u kinda get the permision when u buy the game, when u buy arma u can host arma servers, mods are as their name says modifies arma servers but still arma servers

yep trolling... those servers run on a diffrent db... means they have no influence whatsoever on ur main char... u could only loose ur gear on a server actually connected to the main db

Hmm correct me if im wrong but the original game was arma 2 CO, rocket took it, bent it to his "own selfish needs" and created dayz... those tunngle ppl are sometimes just copying what rocket does like this anty rocket guy, but some like guru abdul are developing the game in a compleatly diffrent way exploring compleatly new ideas, to me they are actually doing way more than a single dayz player does by joining the official server and camping 3 hours outside stary, especially since all their work is public, i think that (if any of what they do is really good) rockets "original dayz" might benefit from it greatly, also in this alfa ppl dont only test bugs but also influence new features/new ideas - from private hives we learn that some ppl would like to have alternate chars/their own servers etc which is also a part of testing. __________________________________________ Do u realy sit down to the game with a notepad on ur desk and scipple down every little bug u find? Be reasonable ppl play this gme to have fun, the fact that they test it at the same time is usefull to the devs but nobody sits down to "test" the game... how is it stealing if they give the credit to rocket... did rocket steal the arma 2 engine from BI?? is there a way to update it aside for downloading again? if not an auto audate or a update button would be really nice as the next feature, also thanks for the work so far

i wouldnt go as far, i think i would change it for a gps, nvg are to rare and valuable, maybe uder right circumstances a range finder although its worth more than a range finder

If u remove bandits Dehydration, hunger and zombies, are not a threat... LOL U just take and akm and go into town guns blazing, or simply run through loosing zeds around corners and in houses with 2 exits ----------------------------------------------------- Does anyone consider this game hard in anyway if there were no bandits? bandits are the only thing that makes this game hard and unique, and without them there is no point in getting most of the best gear like gillies, nvgs, sniper rifles, rangefinders, etc since an akm is as good as it gets while disposing zombies, maybe u could chnage it to mk 48 or a M4A1 SD but thats it... most of the stuff is really redundant without bandits

hmm getting gear isnt the goal of this game, its just the means, now that u have good gear (btw good gear would be NVG/GPS/M4A1 SD/Gillie/AS50/Coyote Backpack) go kill stuff thats when this game becomes really good

also here is a short video explaining how the corrections work, idk if it will be of any use for u ______________________________________________________ the corrections themselfs are actually realy needed only for the DMR, but the measurements tables are usefull for all weapons especially if u dont have a spotter with a range finder So what i would like to have is: M24 - Mil dot ranging M107 - Mil dot ranging DMR - Corrections and ranging ______________________________ u might also add the picture explaining SVD scope would also be nice to see AS 50 ranging, and cz ranging though they are not invcluded in my link(i had another link with all the tables but its not working atm) And again this sniper stuff is what would really make ur app usefull for me, since all the rest can be just looked up in the wiki with alt+Tab ___________________________________________ hmm now that i think about it i think there should also be a guide explaining the granade launcher ironsight on it
