I am sad, my best kitted guy ever got wiped out. I didnt even have any guns that would be hacked in, just an M14 aim and M9 SD. What bugs me is that I had virtually all the tool slots filled and had a ghillie suit. I'm so disappointed when I log in and see an empty inventory and on the coast that I really dont care to play. If I do bother I think I will just wait till the standalone since I'm kind of tired of having all the effort wasted on bugs and anonymous server wipes.

As a friendly solo survivor, I'd love the chance to come into some sort of civilization from time to time, especially for the purposes of trade and grouping up for gear hunting. It gives me the distinct vibe of STALKER, and that kind of thing is precisely what DayZ needs in my opinion. Some idea of when and where these safe zones will be would be awesome.

Baaaaah I got killed by a survivor. Easy pickings. I think he saw me pass out, but it was a dangerous area anyway.

Hey, I could definitely use some help. Low blood level near Prigorodky. I don't have a great deal but hopefully I have something decent to give in return. Sadly my awesomely kitted out character died after being stuck in the debug plains and I lost all my sweet military gear. Respawned and have had a pretty bumpy road so far heh. Had to axe 31 zombies in one sitting for instance. I'm actually proud of still being alive! If it weren't for the semi regular passing out... Steam ID is TheBigLev. Thanks!

I too am having the same issues, despite reinstalling the beta, trying to roll back the patch to 1.7.1, reinstalling to 1.7.1.1, using the Six launcher to verify. Multiple efforts, no success. I am able to get into games fairly consistently, but like the OP I have no debug monitor, no loot, no zombies, am invisible in 3rd person, and do not deplete my food, water, etc. My solution at the moment is to wait for the next patch to roll through, this one has been pretty disastrous for me!
