Hello All, LazyAssGamers would like to invite all our fellow DayZ friends to join us for a Christmas BBQ This Sunday 16th December 2012 @ 6pm GMT (Thats 1pm for you East Coast Players) Join us for some Christmas Cheer, and enjoy some lovely cooked meat and as much soda as you can drink as we celebrate the festive season, We may also provide some lovely Christmas music to get you all in the mood. There are some rules, so please stick to them, hackers and pvp'ers need not bother to turn up, sniper cover, and air cover will be provided to protect our guests. The [LAG] server is private hive, therefore you will not have to worry if you get killed by a hacker, pvp'er should our safety measures fail. Transport will be provided for players that need it, again, you will be protected while in transport to the bbq location, those requiring transport are asked to meet at Komorvo, or Balota. BBQ co-ordinates will be announced no earlier than Sunday morning. Any questions, please feel free to ask, a good suggestion would be for new players to our server to jump online and kit up ready for the event. All those wishing to attend, meet outside Komorovo by 5:45pm GMT .. you will be transported to the bbq site by [LAG] and [F.E.A.R] Guards via bus. Suitable inventory will be supplied to you, meat steaks, soda, and a map. Please remember that air support, and armed guards are there to PROTECT YOU, do not try to engage the guards, or fire on the Helicopters as this WILL result in your death. The high ping kick feature DOES work, and just to be 100% plain on this, the high ping kick is set within the battle eye config, and implimented via battle eye.

i think you'll find they have just announced a package offering exactly that.

Unfotunately that is not the case, Lingor is basically a mod on top of DayZ, its just not possible to offer a "map" change facility in the way most people think of it.

Servers at Vilayer are whitelisted automatically, however the installation of the instance i.d and mission file are a manual process and can take a few hours.

Reverted UK205 to 1.7.2.4 this afternoon and everything is fine, 1.7.2.5 is seriously broken, as is hive 0.7.3

Slightly different problem here on UK205, vehicles are spawning, but totally random, i.e you save a ural at a camp, and after a restart it either changes to a bike / 4x4 truck, or disappears completely, same for all other vehicles, very frustrating and needs to be looked into, the persistent state of the game is also the core element of it, fix this before trying anything new !

This is apparently a kown problem, since the new patch, vehicles either disappear, or they respawn totally randomly, weve had vehicles turned into other vehicles at the place last saved, server restarts, and a ural and a 4x4 turn into a single bike, happens on every restart, tents are still fucked to.

It's not a vilayer issue, it appears the battle eye master server is down so clients cannot update, it normally resolves itself in a few hours.

Same issue here, and it's also really bad up in Berezino, crashed the minibus and got 4 of us killed because we did not see a roadblock due to the artifact :(

Enough of the cheating / hacking accusations, as server admin I have seen NO PROOF in our logs of any HV member cheating / hacking, however should such evidence come to light, this will be forwarded to the dayz dev team and likely result in a global ban for ANY player caught hacking.

So did [HV] lose some vehicles yesterday?

Same for my camp, restarted as normal and all tents have vanished, nothing in the logs .. very very weird!

Exactly the reason the server was just taken offline to pull the logs, server is now back online, we will try to find the culprit of the hacking.

It wasn't a restart, we immediately shut down the server once we saw what had happened in order o try and prevent a further hack.

A warning is always issued before a restart, and impossible items were lost due to arestart today as the server has NOT been restarted since 4pm yesterday.

ban the guid's in you're bans.txt and send the logs to dayz support.

Correct, there is no valid reason a player other than an admin should access that part of the lobby, and iirc, anyone that tries to, even logged in as an admin, is now kicked by bybattle eye.
