FuelZ Dayz Taviana server is looking for people to come and join us. 400 Vehicle Spawns, Active admins, AntiHack, and a balanced Starting loadout, and server teamspeak. Nobody in real life is ever shot while unarmed. It just doesn't happen! Developers, please fix this. Also, what is up with zombies attacking me when I only have a flashlight and some beans? What is their deal? They are also ruining this game!

I lost all my stuff as well but within 2 hours I was geared up again. No big deal. People need to remember this game is still in Alpha. -

In the midst of a 14 day run. I'm making my way back south after hitting the NW Airfield and I decide to take a run to Green Mountain in search of a ride. As I approach I see a bus and can hear movement. After a minute or 2 I decide that a true Bandit would get in that Bus and ride off into the sunset laughing all the way. Unfortunately, I failed to factor in how god damned slow a bus is. I got about 7 feet before the windows were being shot out and realized my path was blocked by a pile of rubble. LOL...I felt like Sonny Corleone at the tollbooth. Oh well...not my finest moment but hey, it would have been a great story if I'd made it out alive and frankly, it still was if not a little more of a tragic comedy than I had intended. Hats off to those who gunned me down. :) -

Date/Time: 28/6/2012 What happened: Combined 1911 mag with 1 round to Revolver ammo and then back to 1911. Now have a 1911 mag with 7 rounds. Where you were: Somewhere in Berezhino. What you were doing: Looking for ammo in apartment buildings. *Current installed version: 1.7.1.5 *Server(s) you were on: LU2 *Your system specs: My friend was able to repro as well so not system specific. *Timeline of events before/after error: -Picked up a mag with 1 round. -Right Click -Select Combine for ACP(revolver ammo) -Right Click -Select Combine for 1911 -Mag now has 7 rounds. Anyways...seems like a glitch we want to address unless people turning 1 round into 7 is by design..lol.

I was in a barn the other day and I was picking up some ammo on the loft at the top when I was shot point blank from behind and killed instantly with no warning. I had just looked down the stairs and saw nothing so I wonder if the dude had just spawned or something while I was there. Either way...scared the hell out of me and I yelled out loud to the point that everyone on TS with me was laughing hysterically.

I can see both sides. I voted Yes but perhaps a fair compromise would be to have Regular servers spawn with a Makarov while veteran and hardcore spawn without. That way those who want the additional challenge can spawn with just their torch and bandage while people who were new to the game could adjust while starting with a Makarov at least. Just a thought. -

YES Hated it at first when I was new to the game. Once you learn where to acquire weapons it is not so bad. Beans and water would be nice however. -
Not sure why some servers insist on disabling player tags. If there were more variation in the player models I could perhaps understand this however, last night we had a group of 7 people on and with all of us using one of 3 player models it became next to impossible to tell who was who. Eventually a friend who was new to the game ended up shooting me in a panic when he ran into a tent I was in and mistook me for a bandit that was shooting at us. lol Now I understand why some would want to disable crosshairs and even 3rd person to an extent but removing the name tags makes little to no sense unless you play alone and just shoot on sight at all times. Since there is very little difference in appearance I would think that a nametag would be quite useful for most. Maybe I'm in the minority with this opinion though. Thoughts? Am I overlooking something here?

Again...the solution to the problem doesn't necessarily need to be removing them altogether. The glitch in this case isn't that tags exist but rather that they are displayed when they shouldn't be. In your example, they should not have been displayed when you can't even see the person as it provides an unfair warning of someone who's location should be hidden. A better solution than removing them altogether would be to fix them so that they only display when you can actually see the person in question or limit them to squad members or friends.
