Yes. Partly because I presume it's necessary for developers and server owners, but mainly to hear all the butthurt kids whine and cry.

What server do you generally play on and at what times? Looking for a pretty similar set up, as spending an hour or two gearing up, dying then rinse and repeat is getting a little tiring :)

Going to the toilet imo is lame and should never be introduced. All for realism but I don't want to spend my gaming hours wondering where I can take a virtual dump. The fishing idea is one that should be considered though, would be pretty sweet to have a bunch of guys just chilling by the lake, pulling fish out of the water. We could even end up with post-apocalyptic in-game fishing tournaments!

I doubt it's possible but not being able to disconnect/save when bleeding would be a great addition. Not sure how it could stop Alt-F4 or router unpluggers though....

The only thing that blew my mind is OPs arrogance and their inability to read stickys.

I love the idea of stumbling upon a dead survivor and finding a journal in their loot. Even if it's just a page of text or simply an url to their blog - something like a journal/diary would add another huge slice of humanity to the process. Imagine shooting someone for a can of Pepsi and finding their journal detailing how they've been surviving and how they've been helping people. Maybe screencaps of them and their friends around a campfire. It has the potential to make people think again before they ....

Day of Defeat used to have a function where you could 'upload' (kind of) a logo/symbol and you could spray that on the floor or wall once per round. Maybe a similar idea COULD be used. You can spray once per life or something? Or in the future when people no doubt own areas/buildings (ok maybe I'm getting ahead of myself) you can only spray on your own territory.

I get this too, very exagerated. I found turning the gamma right up helped a lot, but gives a bright bleached look. Better than being almost blind though.

Every server that me and a friend join is just loading with a black screen - and no, not night time black - we have joined servers from all timezones. We can move and bring up the gear menu but no actual visibility. Any ideas? Ok. My OP makes no sense. I mean, the game loads as normal, but then on entering the server - nothing. Total black (and not just night time black, its on all timezones). We can still move around.

How can I change my settings so this isn't so extreme? The only time I can actually see anything is when i look right down at the ground - the colour fades back . Yet as soon as I look up it goes black again and I can only see silouettes and black ground and the sky. Is this intentional or my settings? Seems harsh, i know the mod's all realistic and everything but I do like to actually be able to see stuff.

I imagine survivors are supposed to be sparse - it's the zombie apocalypse. I've seen 76 man servers though. I tend to see a hell of a lot of people in and around Cherno too.

Is it intentional for the screen to darken completely when looking above ground level? I can see perfectly when looking at the ground (nice, bright green and daylight) but as soon as I look up it seems to have some awful sunshine effect that blinds me and I can only make out silhouettes and the land/horizon. It's not my system not handling it, it's adequate, and I get 60 fps - i5 2400, 4gb ram, Radeon HD 6870 etc. Just wondering if this 'blinding' effect is super realism or I have my setting all spazzed...

Nice post. I had a very similar experience last night on my first full foray into Chernarus. A few swift deaths and a respawn in - what I presume is - Debug Woods, I wandered around on a power plant roof for a while after hearing the tell-tale sound of buzzing flies, but could not find the body anywhere. I slowly crawled my way through overgrown gardens until I reached a fairly large red building with an invitingly open front door. I reached the the steps and my heart sank as I heard the inhuman groan coming from within - a sneaky look and sure enough, there were two hungry zeds waiting for me. Still without a weapon I backed off and went around the side alley, picking up some binoculars and a little package on the way, before legging it to the woods as I needed to log for the night. My little package turned out to be a ghillie suit! Looking forward to playing again later, as the amazing 'Sniper with no gun'.

I have respawned a couple of times with no gear at all, not even a backpack. Sorry if this is already a well known bug, I hadn't had it happen before.
