Well yeah you shouldn't be able to play, seeing as the game is rated 18.... And obviously there are dicks of all ages, but the fact remains, if you have 12 year olds running around - the chances are, they will be annoying.

There's a huge difference between killing to survive - desperately needing food/water, weapons etc, and killing 'for teh lulz'. It's a shame that they can't make the game age-verified only. I know people could get around it but many wouldn't. >18 = less pvp and less annoying turds on direct chat too.

I've had these exact same problems too. Also, the last time I died, I respawned inland, with no gear at all, 8000 blood, flashing hunger and thirst and next to the body of a well equipped player. Very odd.

To be fair, it sounds like he was laughing too. If he's a fresh spawn he won't be bothered, just a fun story for him to tell people.

I was arranging to meet up with my mate in Bor last night and he was just looting one of the deerstands there. He shat bricks as a player appeared from behind the deerstands - I heard my mate jamming 'Friendly! Unarmed' and then "Woah, nice one". Apparently the guy just leant left and right before dropping an AK and two mags. Not everyone is an underage wannabee-badass like Blackgoofguy here.

Try updating Arma beta to 97945, then roll it back to 94876. I know it sounds a bit retarded but I had the same problem, tried this and now can connect fine.

I get about 15 minutes of play and then kicked "Battleye not respondinng". Is this the update or do I just need to reinstall Battleye?

And where has Rocket said that Arma 3 will include a version of DayZ? Pretty sure that has never been said - happy to be proven wrong though.

Just an idea to incorporate a shopping trolly/cart (could equip like a bicycle, but slower?) for town runs - that can hold an absolute f*ckton of stuff. Make them rare enough to be a real treat when you find one. Make it pretty slow so you're an obvious target without backup. Maybe have it derez after 30 mins of use or whatever to help lag. Could be fun, no?
