Well zombies disappear when people log in and out. The explosions and fire could have been caused by a helicopter crashing. -

I've noticed when I updated my ARMA II beta patch, I wasn't getting any more graphical problems. I've seen that a lot of people haven't updated their beta and have been getting graphical glitches. So just update your beta and you shouldn't have any more problems. -
