It's cool that everyone is so on-board with the kid idea. I'm sure that the eventual intent is to make the zombies more diverse, I'm just eagerly anticipating it. I'm sure they could pull off the kid thing if it was done tastefully, and someone made a point about Dead Space that I didn't think of either. I'm not really digging the whole specialized zombie in terms of anything other than pure aesthetics. I can't imagine any circumstance in real life where some people would react to an infection by becoming super-human, it would just detract from the authentic feel for me.

I carry the revolver for the cool factor, even though there are a bunch of glaring aesthetic and functional inaccuracies with it. The extra range is what sells it for me, and in my experience the first survivor to spot the other is almost always the winner, so a more accurate shot is a little more important to me than RoF.

Yeah, I do think the kid thing would be a bad idea, but in my ideal world it would be a possibility. I think a clown might be pushing it, I don't know how many people would be in costume in the midst of a world-ending apocalypse, but perhaps if it was super rare, like on par with Mountain Dew rarity. I like that idea a lot actually, unique zombies that are incredibly rare.

I can't help that I'm a kinky bastard. I crave authenticity, and this sausage fest isn't doing it for me. Plus how gott damn scary would it be to have a fuckin kid chasing you at night time, or doing the slow walk through a supermarket. Gives me goddamn chills. I admit the kid idea would only work in a world where everyone was mature enough to handle it, but alas. But still, ladies man. It would add another layer to the game. When I shoot a guy, be it a zombie or a player, I get a definite feeling of satisfaction. When I shoot a lady player, even though I know there's a dude sitting behind a screen controlling her, I still feel a tinge of regret.

Well if all they had was stuff that you can grab in Elek then they should be back up to speed in no time... If you really felt bad you would try talking to them first, not that I'd recommend that.

Yeah go there dude. What else would you have to do, unless you want to get some other low tier weapon and hunt other players. If you're still at low blood you should hunt some animals. Aiming with the crossbow is really easy, too. All you have to do is look for where the two outer lines of the top rail converge, and that's where your bolt is going to go. Good hunting

My anti-virus did exactly what you're describing, and some of my friends had the exact same problem. We uninstalled the anti-virus and everything was smooth sailing from there on out. If you're out of options I'd suggest trying that.

I would assume that they logged so that they wouldn't have to fire their guns, alerting other players. If I'm in a high traffic area I run out of the area if zombies are chasing me. I only shoot if I'm cornered. I'd say about 30% of the time if I shoot in a high traffic area I end up meeting somebody looking for trouble. That being said, whenever I'm sniping the thing that alerts me easiest is when I see someone running from a train of zombies. -

Why? They should just change the distance in which you have to fall to damage yourself. If you jump off a building then you should break your legs at the very least. The falls that happen so commonly inside of barns should do no damage at all. It's completely ridiculous. You're like the Samuel Jackson from that M. Night Shyamalan movie -

I've been playing the dayz mod for about a month now, and I've seen almost every loot there is, minus super rare nvg and gps. I've seen rocket launchers in the NW airfield, ghillie suits, FN FALs, and all that good stuff. But I've yet to see a sniper rifle. Even a CZ550. Never seen one. What's going on? Am I just insanely unlucky or are snipers super duper rare?

Depending on the server Berezino is well visited and scavenged as well. Anyway - best places to find a CZ still are in a barn. In the South-West part of the city there are 3 farm buildings' date=' go check them out regularly if you hang around in Berezino. [/quote'] Yeah, I'm familiar with all the loot areas and stats.
