I've never really played COD, other than at friend's house's. I shoot everyone who doesn't comply with my requests over direct chat, and if they're too far away to hear me, I shoot. If that makes me a COD kid then so be it, COD is a good series. -

I really think the deterrent shouldn't be anything like a status effect or aesthetic change, that just strains the realism for me. I know this has been said a million times before, but being a homicidal bandit myself, the only thing that would make me think twice about shooting someone on sight is if I knew a zombie horde would immediately be on me and would be much more difficult to kill/lose then they are now. -

Yeah I have to agree. I would like to see it implemented and test it, but it doesn't feel like construction really fits within the DayZ universe. It seems like to much of a contrast between the survival and scavenging on the surface to underground cities. -

It will suck if this game gets ported to Arma 3. I'm sure it will be awesome, but I won't get to enjoy it because my crap top has a hard enough time handling Arma 2 on lowest settings. That's all. My sob story. sadface

This is somewhat off topic, but I'd rather not create a whole thread just to discuss it. I'm wondering if you could make suicide runs into big cities by equipping camo. It would lead to some serious griefing if you could just de-sync and then wreak havoc without having to worry about dying -

The only point I'm making is that no one will take risk without chance of ample reward. In the case of mugging, risk goes up and reward comes down. There's no point aside from a role-playing aspect. I don't understand what argument you could be making other than you don't like getting shot. Nice name-calling too, stay classy. -

I did read it. If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it's a duck, whether or not you say it is. And yeah, the muggee got killed, but so did one of the muggers, which could have been prevented if they had just shot him. -

No one mugs because they get killed if they try. I don't know why you'd post a video that only shows why it's stupid not to shoot on site. If those muggers had just shot him, then one of them wouldn't be dead now. And stop complaining. If you think in the event of a real world apocalypse everyone would be holding hands and singing kumbaya then you better hope the apocalypse never happens. I will play this game how I want to, thank you very much. -
