    If you kill a player there should be some sort of penalty. My idea'd be that the dead player body attract zeds from I dunno a 500m away? If you shoot someone and 20 zeds are running towards you, you might think again next time.

    Still won't work in random PvP. Equip flashlight, get close, "happy friendly", switch to gun, end. In the end, it always depends on the players.

    Yesterday I respawned and did not die for now. Be cautious, wait for the right moment, sneak in and get your first gun. If you have just a little patience it's no problem an all.

    YES I tried it today and did not die a single time cause I had no self defence. Just be cautious and wait for the right place to check for weapons and you'll find one. Plus it adds even more "I am vulnerable"-feeling, which is great.
