I heard that when aiming with iron sights, the crosshair is actually above where you'd normally think the crosshair is. Does anyone have any pics to help clarify where exactly the crosshair is?

Where is the best location/building to go to in order to find an Alice pack? I've come across them in the pubs in Cherno some times. Is there any better spot?

my friend says EVERY single server he joins is night time. i told him hes just unlucky on picking servers but he insists that theres something wrong with his game. anyone know why this is happening?

i don't think its his video settings because whenever i play with him (when i choose a server) its daytime for both of us. -
im looking at the dayz map for vehicle spawn locations. wondering if they spawn 100% working or do they all need to be repaired?

after you go to cherno or electro to supply up, where are good places to head to next? im looking to continue exploring to find better loot and meet other survivors here and there.

I just finished exploring the entire medical tents + 4 deer stands. No loot at all, just tan cans. Is this common or am I just unlucky? -

some servers i see white circles illuminating around zombies, while other servers i dont have that. is that a server side option? if so, what do i look for in servers list to find servers with this?

ok guess its cause of the servers then -
for example Balota is a good place to loot once u spawn, but it's probably going to be empty because other people will most likely have been there already. does items in a certain area respawn by themselves after a certain period of time?

me and my friend wasted many hours just trying to find each other. we're using an external map http://dayzdb.com/map but doesn't help at all. theres so many spawning points that its impossible to find each other. the only landmark that we can recognize is the lighthouse on the high ground, and we have to get lucky to spawn near it. ive only met my friend once. we continue to waste hours trying to find each other. starting to give up this game if we cant paly with each other

is 1.7.1.4 playable? i see people wanting to downgrade their versions and all, i dont know which version is the best to play right now.
