I agree with OP, this would be a much better test environment if characters were wiped more often and the overall gameplay mechanics were more dramatic. -
This is old. Best way to do it is to drop your pack, pick up the new pack, and then pick up the contents of your old pack.

I found one in a barn today as well. It's neat at first, but it's completely useless. I'd rather be shooting an Enfield in the middle of Elektro. -

You can't be completely silent unless you're a trained military sniper, or some sort of assassin or something. Do you think everyone that survives a zombie apocalypse will be a trained military sniper? Probably not. -

I think that Rocket needs to test some of his patches before he releases them instead. Shouldn't he have a team of 5 or 10 people that he knows that would be able to test these patches for him? I mean, it honestly took me about 5 minutes before I realized that there were no food or water spawns in 1.7.1 -

Subsonic ammunition eliminates the sonic boom. If you shoot regular ammo through a silenced weapon there will still be a loud "CRACK" whenever you fire. -

I noticed during 1.7.1.1 patch that people were relatively friendly. It's pretty hard to kill someone you meet with a flashlight. And once you have been together for a while swapping stories and sneaking around together you probably won't turn around and shoot your new mate. But that didn't keep me from watching as zombies chase him (it was pretty hilarious, but I didn't have a pistol and we were at the Elektro Firestation. Not like I'm gonna shoot my DMR out there.) At least now I know not to venture back near the cities, I don't want to lose my Makarov and my Enfield. XD -

If he was a bandit I wouldn't have gotten a murder. It sucks even worse because I was making an effort to not kill people...he was literally the first person I've shot at since I got the mod on Thursday. -

No. This feature is bugged, and gives a heartbeat for everyone (causing confusion in new players.) Not to mention some can hear heartbeats through walls, as well as other issues. -
