    Chernarus 3D Model Wallpaper

the problem is... you would only see very little elevation from that angle.. it would almost look like a flat image.here is an interactive 3d model of chernarus in original scale http://p3d.in/rF7gD

    Chernarus 3D Model Wallpaper

more on the background to these, here: https://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/231559-chernarus-plus-height-map3d-data/ I scaled the map height up by a factor of 3 so you can actually see the differences in elevation Chernarus+ 0.59 Render 4K full 8K resolution Chernarus+ 0.59 Render 4K (No color correction) full 8K resolution
  3. Inspired by a reddit post and fueld by this topic: https://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/34679-chernarus-height-map/ I tried to extract the Chernarus map data to screw around with. The methods from that thread (originally about arma 2 chernarus) still work with the Standalone. So I actually managed to get the height data (took me way too long) and was able to convert it into a 3d model. Here is what I got if someone wants to play with it: Chernarus+ 0.59 high res 3d mesh (OBJ) Chernarus+ 0.59 lower res solid 3d model (OBJ, height is scaled by a factor of 3) Full res satellite map to use as a texture (followed this guide to merge the texture tiles) So... What can you do with that stuff? Well, you could View a real time Chernarus 3D model in your browser Using the same data I also made these wallpapers for ya: No color correction:
