Yea, that happens, it's the thunderdome. You fight until the last man standing (that's what they want you to do).

I suggest you do something about it, because right now you can only use it effectively while standing up. That's what happens when you crouch or prone.

I ran around cherno killing zombies with my bizon for like half an hour or more, had 60 bullets from the start, when i was done and had left the town I logged out, when I logged in again i had 60 bullets again so the ammo counting is not working properly. -

I shot one bullet, relogged, had full ammo, shot 4 bullets, ran 300 meters, relogged, had only lost 1 bullet. Then I shot 3 more, waited a while, relogged and I had lost 3. So... I don't know what to make of that, just reporting. -
How does one become a bandit? I'm just asking because my friend killed me the other day and he recived a murder for that. I had 4 murders and 0 bandit kills... How was I not a bandit?

Yea my friend heard heartbeats from me, not sure if he did by the time he killed me though. And I mentioned the masks and stuff because rocket said in an interview with machinima that he would bring masks to 1.7.3 instead of whole outfits, so you can see who's a bandit or not. And if you have very high humanity you would get like a scarf or something. So question is how long those things would last... -

I see, so with 1.7.3, if I have murdered someone and recived a balaclava(or whatever you wanna call it, mask) that mask will go away after some time? I'm kinda confused by all of this, how does humanity work into this? Being a bandit is temporary but humanity is permanent? :huh: -

Well, if you're a bandit you already have your hands full by griefing electro. If you're friendly however, go to the dangerous places (Stary, NW Airfield, etc..) and hunt down the bandits, protect those survivors. Or, you could do what I do, find new players and be their personal instructor, teaching them to play the game. That means you must follow them where ever they want to go. -

Is it just me or does the server difficulty level (regular, veteran, expert) not have any relevance what so ever to the server settings. from DayZ wiki: "Servers differ in difficulty level, regular difficulty allows third-person, has a crosshair, and allows you to see other players nameplates. Veteran servers do not permit these." Was this ever true? If I'm looking for a server with everything turned off (third person, nametags, crosshair, death messages) filtering for expert wont help me at all because I find alot of "expert" servers with everything turned on and then also find "regular" servers without crosshair or third person". Veteran can be anything... Why are all these hosts putting "expert", "veteran", or "regular" in the server names if it doesn't play any role with the settings? So annoying, why can't it just be simple...

Server difficulty level?

Yes I also use DayZ commander, however... commander sais that the servers I play on have third person and crosshair which is not true so I can't trust that program entirely. -
Me and my friend found a camp with lots of tents, all the gear you could ever need pretty much so we took what we wanted on us and then went on. Didn't meet any players there though. We made characters with "=FNW=" tag (Friendly neighborhood watch) and now we just run around looking for bandits to kill and survivors to stalk. If you have a feeling you're being followed it could be us, but as long as you seem friendly and don't run around with ghille suits and DMRs then we probably won't kill you. If you run around with normal clothing and maybe a lee in the middle of nowhere and suddenly a shot hits right between your legs or maybe right infront of your face, not hitting you, then it's probably me just informing you how visible you are or just making sure you stay on edge. ;) The less of an accurate weapon you have, the less likely it is that we'll shoot you. If you have: Ghille suit, DMR, NVGs and M9 SD then the odds that we will kill you if we get the chance is 100%

Oh hai, "Martin H" ingame, me and Daniel try to stick to norway 4 but sometimes it has a very very long downtime when restarting so then we go to norway 2. We moved to norway 2 since norway 4 no longer has night time and is very slow to restart. -

For those of you who get these artifacts and are to lazy to search this topic for a fix i will quote myself: Just change it back and forth 1 time, that fixed it permanently for me. -

I took the client and server dll files: link and put them in the following two places, replacing the ones that were already there, It worked. (I do not have the steam version) -

This did not work for me so I put the files also in the battleeye folder directly under the arma 2 folder and that fixed it.
