    Nadasdy, please don't try to convince others what you have absolutely no clue about. Spreading false info isn't going to help. Yesterday was a really special occasion, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

    I must have dreamt about the blood parts and how a fixed skin like the bandit one didn't work as people became (permanent) bandits by others shooting at them first and after that none would trust them again and start fire-fights straight away and even sidechat talks didn't stop those.

    Did you update your ARMA2 beta version as well?

    I'll merge it with the other as it will turn out confusing over time. Have you guys tried using his installation process on a different PC? edit: had to move it back and forth twice, but at least both sections link to this one now.

    Think I have to start saying this to a lot of threads at this rate, but please watch http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-07-09-watch-dean-rocket-halls-huge-rezzed-q-and-a-for-dayz if you haven't already. It describes the issues with dealing with the situation quite detailed and it might answer other questions you might have as well.

    Have you tried re-installing BattlEye and this is not a Steam install, correct?

    No, the female model doesn't have any other skins yet like camo, ghillie suits etc. For now females are 'stuck' with the default looks, but as you are probably aware you have the option to become a male again if you desire to do so. In theory you can even respawn your female character near a spawnpoint (but a bit hidden) and run back and loot your old gear as a male.

    These weaponcrates are surely filled with weapons that are not legit as they are spawned into the server via those crates. To avoid drama it's obviously "recommended" to try to ignore them, as tempting as they are...

    If you haven't already I'd highly suggest watching this stream: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-07-09-watch-dean-rocket-halls-huge-rezzed-q-and-a-for-dayz The part regarding underground networks is probably as close to what you want as it will get. As it's also the best method against ghosting. Please take your time to watch it if you haven't already!

    Partying and the alike is already on the to-do list. While I understand that for some this feature just can't come out soon enough, it really is on the to-do list, with no useful ETA or definitive info, but it's certainly something that is brought up more than often.

    Indeed none of you have loading issues related to corruption. I wanted to know the TS's ID as his story was rather interesting. mirc00's issue is also fixed now, As for the others posting here, none of you have corrupted data, sorry.

    Or your post is simply wrong, meaning this accusation is false and based on thin air? If you actually read my post you would have noticed it clearly said, and still says that I was waiting for my copy to arrive, to test this. And if you actually managed to play then yes, the patch worked fine. What happened is that you reversed your version, resulting in the game using your old ID (the one without the string so say 12345AXE became 12345). After going back to the actual ARMAX version you went back to 12345AXE and by the lost your character, as the 2 versions went out of sync. In theory you exist twice now. Matrix much?
