Meh. DayZ mod was fresh and new when it came out but got boring after a while. SA was fresh and new but for even shorter amount of time and they didn't capitalize on it. If they ever make it to something resembling a fully released game it'll be long after the hype for survival games. It was looking good in the beginning but now after all this time? Not so much. -
OP what happened to you is retarded. Similiar thing happened to me though. One of the supposedly official servers just up and died with no warning or reason. Along with my whole stash of several barrels stuffed with various things like suppressors, grenades and so on. Seems like we're back to the point in time when only gear that is on you is somewhat safe.

Hence why bicycles are a better solution. I'm still baffled as to why they are only working on them now instead of like in the first place.
