There are hackers in the game, period. However, 267 is not RAN by hackers. They actually go above and beyond to secure the game play for people who join their server when they are on, so please, if you have a bad experience on the server, don't assume it has anything to do with the clan that runs it.

Simple, and too the point, is there any way to force a vehicle to respawn? As we all know, currently, when a vehicles crashes, or blows up, upon the next server reboot, it pops back up where it was in working condition, often in full repair even. That would seem all fine and dandy, but it isn't. It doesn't give other players any chance to find vehicles in their spawn points. I'm not asking this because I can't find cars, I'm asking this because I'm getting rid of cars, and I would like to see vehicles properly respawn at their points rather than pop back up where it died, same with the heli... which is crashed.. in debug.. in the ocean. Any one have ANY way of nuking a vehicle, and it NOT coming back?

It is a legit question, and I'm not looking for smart ass answers. I'm looking for real answers. GG

Actually, he locks the server to make sure everything is working well before he lets the public population in. Thanks for implying something negative though.

No way to simply wipe your server files and start over?

I too would like to know how one can properly reset their server, IE resetting all car spawns, and wiping all in game items such as barbed wire, and tents. Anyone have the info?

Us 267 is also my home server. The first day I joined the server, there was some sort of hacker overrun going on. I contacted the admin, Chavez, via Email as the server asks you to. He promptly replied, and dealt with the issue. They are not cheaters. I have not personally played along side them, I have however been in combat with their group and they are average players like everyone else, when they are playing. You have to consider that they are a clan team, they communicate via Skype, and have one another backs. The two of you, or how many ever were in your group facing their much larger group will be overwhelming. They will have more eyes on you, and quicker reflexes because they are more people, and more communication. That is not cheating. That, is strategy. However, they are outstanding administrators. With the rise in cheating in this game, they have responded immediately to complaints about cheaters from numerous people. They go above and beyond to make sure the server is running as best as it can on their side, and to keep the environment fun for everyone to plays there. I kindly ask that before you blatantly disrespect people because you had one bad experience, that you re-evaluate the situation you were in. This is an honorable and appropriately ran server. The Administration deserves nothing but respect.

The graphical glitches you all are seeing, is something about the already dead Military bodies in locations like Berezino, Stary, or Cherno. Avoid places with military corpses and you'll be fine until they fix it.

Wire fencing is very useful, it is just a bit annoying when it is used with mal-intent. I do however agree, the fencing NEEDS to be removed/wiped from ever server until it can be fixed. With this update, it has gotten worse. All time high of how bad it is. Can't see popular spots, or my base. The wire is horrid right now.

You know, since I've been playing this game, I've been increasing more internet issues. About two weeks ago, my router would suddenly lose it's connection. It would be online, and read as working fine, but there would be no internet to be had. It happens more and more as time goes on, and especially when I am running Arma, and my roomy is running WoW or The Secret World. We've called our ISP, they claim it's our router. We've called support on the router, they confirm it's not. We've called the ISP, they say we need more service. We stupidly pay for more service. Still no fix. Now we're switching ISP this week. I hope Arma 2 isn't somehow sapping internets.

Was on US267. Just set up 5 Tents, all with a decent amount of space between them, all on flat land I have placed tents on before, in other servers. Began organizing gear into the tents, when my partner asks why one of the tents was suddenly flat. We have no vehicle, and neither of us shot at, or hit the tent to cause it to flatten. I go to look, we're both standing there, and then another one mysteriously falls flat. No gunshots, nothing. Moments later, a LMG sounds and both of us die instantly. Now, normally I'd think, okay, we got found, we died, GG. Move on. But, the had tents flattened mysteriously, with no help, and the server went down from about 30 people to 11, not a few minutes before. Not to mention the insanely dense fog, almost like smoke was engulfing the server. Hacker, or REALLY bad luck?

The thing about the situation is the fact that the server wasn't redchained at all. The entire population had dropped by half, and there was a fog covering the server that none of us had ever seen, in over a month of playing. The tents don't flatten by just shooting at it for a moment, you have to properly unload to get one to go down. I've tried. Hatchets and cars knock them down fast. They went down quietly and smoothly, then we both died in a split second. I call hacks, but we couldn't see or hear anyone until we both died.

I'm not new to vehicles in DayZ. I have found well over 15 vehicles for myself and/or the group I play with in the entire duration I have been playing DayZ. Obviously not in one fell swoop, not a hoarder. I have seen almost every vehicle in the game mode that is legal. I have seen illegal vehicles, and have had the admin of my home server remove them. Now, I ask, is it possible for vehicles to have other skins? A team mate just found a Motorcycle, with a red body and flame decals. That seems alarming to me, I know the Motorcycle can be found, but with that skin? Let me know.

Better, yes. However, hard to read still. The Grey/Black/Red color combination is bad on the eyes, even though yes, it goes with the theme.

I can handle everything about the update except for the latency and De-sync that causes the game to be completely unplayable, especially with someone else or in a vehicle.

The back and forth in this thread is almost unreal. TLDR: Everyone is going to disagree with someone.. The way I see it, this is what the Devs feel should be done. They run this circus, and are trying to make it a better game mode for EVERYONE. This is a survival game mode. Hoarding gear so you can sit pretty on a throne, isn't survival. Hoarding cars, so no one else in the server can enjoy the game, isn't fair. Putting things out of map, which is called out of map/bounds for a reason, is a bitch move. Having a base in map, in the forest, puts you on the playing field as everyone else. True survival. Raiding and being raided, is expected. The circle of life. Get over it.

No. Not going to just say yes or no. When the game is in position to be a Beta, yes. Wipe everything. Right now, it's not, and dealing with hackers, cheaters, dupers, hoarders, helps the Devs figure out their next move. Game on.

Any argument AGAINST this, is just proof that too many people went far beyond what the devs told you to do, in order for you to play the way you guys want to. The argument that this makes it noob friendly: How so? Those of you who hide things in the barren, and far off parts of Debug plains, are stupid and trying to play cautiously as opposed to risking it by finding a proper, in-bounds hiding spot. Who is the noob now? I was walking along the border of the map, which does and always has existed, for a reason. I found three vehicles off in the plains beyond the border. What is the reason? Get the one, or two cars you need, don't hoard because you're a jackass. This is meant to be a survival game, and no, that does not mean everything will be realistic. Don't make an argument for realism. The Devs are making this game mode. They set the rules. They call the shots. Most importantly, if anyone knows how this game is intended to be played, it is them. Any arguments against that are those who don't want to follow their rules.

We should have one thread, that lists all questionable items, and whether they are or are not legit so when someone comes across items that are in fact not legit, we can let everyone know, for future reference, and so they can drop it. The Wiki isn't accurate or trustworthy, so admins, sticky this, and let's compile a list. The List: RGO Grenades - NOT LEGIT (Claimed to spawn in UAZ, not true!) Radios - Legit, but rare and useless AS50 Thermal - NOT LEGIT M107 Thermal - NOT LEGIT Sachal Charge - Legit, but rare.

I say Day-Zed, and I'm American. I just sounds better. Saying Dayzee makes me feel like I'm calling an apocalyptic zombie game mode a pretty little flower. Edit: I've heard people say Dayz as in Days, or DayZee, or DayZed.

Yes, you can refer to the wiki to see which vehicles have storage. For the bus, is can be tricky. The best way to access it while you are in it is Press M, for map (Even if you don't have one) then click on Units, then you'll see and option for Gear on the middle-right of the screen. Do that to access the Busses inventory! Most vehicles you can approach the car from a side, to access it you just have to keep scrolling.
