  2. Not sure if it was purely the server, but after beta patch last night my fps shot up. Gameplay was smoother with less lag. But again, could've been the server... I really enjoyed it a lot.

    So have you played it yet? Have they released a video with gameplay yet? No? Maybe they should if this game has been in development longer, and probably using war inc's platform. How come thus game doesn't even have a proper website? Psh. Do you believe Hype every time it's fed to you? Until we get solid proof of a stable, working, non-fabricated game.. I might begin to believe you.

    Do you own a .45? I have 2 1911's and those things are not silent. They are much louder than your standard 9mm. I have owned both, including .40's. .45 is definitely an attention getter indoors or out. I've heard many a time of enraged and drug influenced criminals taking more than 1 round to kill them when shot in the back and such. It should take 2 or so to the chest with these infected at least. Obviously 1 to the head.

    They've always talked or grunted. I don't mind seeing they're technically sick humans. But the nerf thing for the .45's went a lil too deep. Should be 2 shots.

    Air Drops, a way to mix-up the PvP and camping

    While a good idea this would be more interesting if it could be triggered as a player driven event. Plane spawns should be allowed along with heli. Maybe the transport ones in arma. Once they are crashed, they spawn loot like crashed helios. Those driving the plane should value it for its firepower and mobility... And others might just want to bring it down for the loot. Thus would scatter people who want to hunt for them.
  10. Also- some small towns should spawn clothing when more is put into the game. Giving unique items to specific small towns make taking trips to then for those reasons interesting. Some take trips to small towns if they have a super market.. So I'm sure putting at least 1 unique spawn area of loot in a small town would have a huge effect. Maybe even a gun store in rural towns where shotguns/Cz can spawn.

    Criminals sometimes dress up as a cop and kill ppl in today's world unfortunately. If its done here, it should be allowed in a sandbox. We always must be careful.

    Good idea. When you obtain medic status, it should be faster to give medical treatment than others. Same goes for other roles: fix two individual cars? Get a mechanic skin with the ability to hold more car parts than the average person and repair faster. Raider (bandit class after xx murders), hunter (survivor class after xx zed kills), lawman (after so many bandit kills.) Sorry for getting off topic a little but I definitely agree. I never want to shoot a medic.

    /signed in support of this project in general- BI knows they have a huge market here and can be the first to jump on it in this fashion. Devote a team to rocket and create the biggest MMO/shooter on the market with no gimmicks.

    If a medic here ever needs a guard, or over watch, to help them out I will gladly do so. I would like to help in any way possible if need be. This ol bandit is trying to repent for crimes done in the past. I will gladly play point man or guardian for any honest medic. I can navigate well and have experience in security type roles. I also have more guards if the job calls for it. I will work for free, no catch. I would also like to add that Lost Alice has patched me up and mended my legs countless times after trouble. I can vouch for her if she has applied for white listing (believe she has.) Just pm me on the forums if you want a buddy to help you get places in US servers. Keep up the good work guys!

    Viagra may be able to help with this medical condition. Please consult your doctor before usage. Ps- you should be able to pitch a tent anywhere flat. I pitch tents near trees or on them all the time. Freaky, I know.

    To add more to this- is it possible for the abort button to vanish during times of shock (when being fired upon?) most of the time, the shock icon stays up for the majority of pvp duration. I may be wrong though, but I do see it often when a sniper or rifle rings off at me. If they alt f4 they'll be detected by the hive too. Not sure of performance ramifications here. Also, I noticed zombies are invincible during their transition animations. Many that monkey run stand up to attack, and during that time of standing abd attacking, I unload into them only to watch it crouch down and continue to peruse. Is this a known issue? Lastly, I have noticed very large spawn counts for tree stands near stary... Every server was the same. Some tree stands north of stary spawn huge amounts and they don't stop. Helicopter spawns are also very frequent and fast. Just a few bugs I've noticed recently.

    I just say extend the log out timer to 1 minute. You shouldn't be logging out in an unsafe place anyways. I often dc from shitty Internet but I'd man up if I died from my char standing there because of the timer. This would give someone good time to make sure they finish a kill. Use the data logging to catch server hopers that want loot or a ghost kill.

    Question- my Internet provider had been shutting off and on lately as I've been playing. This has caused me to reconnect to the same server many times that my buddies are in (sometimes the net even went down during loading screen.) Would this flag the admins as if I were a server hopper? The only reason I keep joining on the days it keeps going down is because I have the free time abd really want to play. Am I going to have to stay offline when my Internet decides to go to the shitter in fear of being banned/given bad rep?
  19. Does cod and battlefield keep the loot you last picked up? Do they even have loot you need to collect? Do they require you to brave your own story? Do these game keep you on a certain place of the map or server persistent? Do they require you to craft a fire to keep warm? This game shares many characteristics with an Mmo. I'm not here trying to play wow but this game can use some more depth. Please kiddo... Relax.
  20. How would this take away from the feel when many people in real life already have underground shelters for times of disaster? I think it's perfect. Entrances should be slightly pronounced, as much as a tent at least, to keep people cautious of where to set up base. It should require two people as well. Tents can be used for the lone wolf. Entering these based should be tough. I agree with simple traps and such, nothing too high tech. Shipping containers now have purpose- build your base with their material gathered. Just like medal scraps loot. When radio towers/generators/other items that had been mentioned are implemented, they should be a large part with these hideouts. Generators and gas for then should be the most valued thing to keep your bases going, along with your car.
  21. Do you know what MMO stands for? This is a massive multiplayer game right now. You know there are different types of MMO's out there? Not sure how suggesting improvements to a game in alpha to add just a tad more realism to a simulator is such a bad thing. Flame elsewhere kiddo, we have grown things to discuss.
  22. I can understand what you're saying but the pieces of guns thing is a little unrealistic. No one leaves optics, buttstocks, or pistol grips laying around. Give us full guns as it stands now, just make their condition worsen if not cleaned. More jamming until the gun finally locks up from the sheer amount of dirt in it. All the American ar's and .50's would guck up much faster than the tried and reliable ak platforms. People need to consider shooting players now. "is it worth putting a few rounds through my gun for an unarmed player?" Edit- make the gun stats transfer from player to player too. Pick up a used gun... Suddenly find out 700 rounds had been put through it before and the gun hadn't been maintenced. You get into a fight without checking this fact only to point the gun at someone... Pull the trigger... And *click* ... Not such a smart idea anymore huh? Also, make player models look more gritty as the days progress. cuts, bruises, and clothing has its share of wear... More as the days go by. Everything needs a much more weathered look in game. Including towns even.
  23. First off, I will mention detection seems much more natural so I'm going to leave that aspect of the zeds alone. Here are my ideas listed numerically to keep this direct. 1. Zombie spawning (upon shooting/gunshots) should not be immediate. Initial zombie spawns should be large enough to prove a challenge (1.7.2 seems to step in that direction) that additional zombies should have a full minute timer before they arrive. These additional spawns should be further (100m?) from player so the zeds look as if they're investigating a noise, instead of being right on you 5m away This will allow players to clear, loot, and make a decision to run or risk staying to loot more. The additional reinforcement zeds should be larger in number as they roam the area looking for the noise. 2. Infected should have different skins to signify loot as they do now, just more variation. A police officer zed should have a pistol holstered that can be looted after getting killed, for example. Seeing not all buildings are enterable, this provides additional ways to get geared. It could help noobs get small arms when just starting out if one just knows a police officer might have a gun on him. I'm not sure if code would allow the zed not to use a weapon in their inventory?? 3. Zeds should be able to go unconcious like human players. Shots to the chest and head are the only way to kill permanently (seeing that the zeds are just crazed humans.) otherwise, any other shots will render them unconscious for a brief few seconds before they rise again and chase you. This would force players to fear them more if they need to become a better shot. 4. Improve the infected noises; these sound somewhat generic and annoying. Could be worse. 5. The obvious- path finding/zig zag needs to become more predictable. Flesh craving humans who are not thinking logically will bolt right for whatever they need- not worrying about being killed. 6. There should be a random chance hordes will spawn in the woods 400m from an individual player. The horde should just be roaming aimlessly between towns, moving together in the same direction. If a player does not bump into them for a certain time frame, they can despawn. 7. Speed should be dialed down and sprinting zombies need more of a limp or obvious damages. They limp when walking but then sprint like a gold medalist. 8. Attack animations should be smoother and technically, these zeds should be able to knock out a player with a wild swing as they run, or actually ramming\tackling victims if someone runs into a full sprint zed head on. 9. When a player is cut open/ bleeding, there should be a good chance they become infected. Antibiotics should be more common in houses and apartments to prevent you from catching what the zeds have. I think adding an item like a medical face mask or scarf should be placed in game as a rare item that prevents you from getting infected when bleeding out. Many people would be running around like this in time of infection- look at china and Japan. Will add more as I think of ideas. If someone is going to add or refute, please keep your posts civil abd organized to make it easy for mods to browse through.

  25. Two tips since a lot of complaining about aggro comes from those who just rush for epic lootz in every building... As if there will be an m4 around every corner. 1. Flares and smoke grenades seen to have a much larger effect. Toss then in a direction AWAY from you and sit back for a minute. 2. You can break LOS much easier by dodging around buildings then lowering your posture to make less noise. I snuck into zino to the hospital from the woods with not 1 zed aggro the other day with this patch. I just keep an eye on distance to closest zombie and his LOS/which direction he's walking.
