I always liked third person because it allowed me to view my character. It may sound silly but I like seeing how that new piece of clothing or weapon looks.

I just bought a 100 dollar naga mouse. It's so sweet. -
So yesterday I'm running and look over my shoulder and get this huge image of my backpack. I thought it was another player right behind me with a hatchet. Nearly jumped out of my chair. Too much coffee maybe.

Double click or press the left arrow as if you were dropping the item. Note you cannot drop items normally when the bag is open because of this. Thanks!

Go to the Survivors section on the forums and find some peeps to hook up with. IMO it's the only way to go if you want to play with others - unless you have RL friends to join you.

What does this indicate? I know the red x indicates different versions. I am guessing I've been banned from this particular server although I'm unsure why.

I am fully updated with latest Arma II patch and Dayz files. I guess they haven't update yet.

I found a peddle bike once and another time a jeep on the side of the road with a ton of ammo in it. I couldn't get in and drive it although it looked like like it was in perfect condition. My only options were to rearm, search or get in the back.

How many times would i have to shoot someone in the body with a glock to kill them? In general I'm guessing the only half-decent means of killing another player with a pistol is to use headshots?

Ok well maybe it was six times :) At least six though! He had to be one hurtin' unit and I felt bad bc I PROBABLY could have talked to him but I have a sour taste in my mouth after some kid lured me to the hospital offering a blood transfusion and shot me in the head. Gone a little squirrelly now.
