I was talking about real life and applying it to the game. If faced with the end of dayz I would take my dog over most civilians who lack any survival or combat skills and have the fitness level of....your average north american :)

My and my buddy were on a BUS and barely hit one zombie. The bus explodes throwing us out into a field with broken legs, bleeding and shock.

Fallout was a good game but I really had the "zaney" twist. It's like a cross between realism and the fucking Jetsons or something. Came very close to ruining the game for me. If I want comedy I'll go watch a stand up comic. I don't need or want it in my games. So fuck fallout :)

I believe tents should be replaced or supplemented with something harder to find. Not impossible but harder. I know my group doesn't even bother with them because of the reasons mentioned above.

I would blow the shit out of your tents if I found them. Nothing personal but your group having a tent city to resupply at gives you an advantage. If I can take that advantage away I will. For all I know, you could be nothing but a group of banditos who kill me an hour later with the very same gear I chose not to destroy.

I have thought about this as well. As much as I will hate it when I run out, I do think matches should have a limited number of uses. Either that or just replace the item with a lighter or something.

It doesn't make the game "fair" by any means. You still have different weapons' date=' different group sizes. It adds a new playstyle to the game, one that is removed by NVG.
