Hey everyone, I've been looking at various zombie MMO-like games, and while the "MMO" aspect itself isn't particularly attractive I like the general idea of the game. I wasn't able to find a FAQ (Maybe I'm just blind, but I really did try) and I have some questions before I purchase: - Is the game being regularly updated? If yes, what is the average time between updates? I was looking at "The Dead Linger" but it seems to be suffering from a developer who is spread between many projects. - Does this game have any form of "Pay to win"? (This includes any form of purchasable weaponry, even by gambling/random chance setups, if you can pay money and get an item that could be beneficial (i.e. Food, weapons, etc.) then it is pay-to-win) This put me off of H1Z1 with their loot crates. - Is the game able to render many zombies at once? I have a relatively powerful PC (AMD Radeon 390X, Core i7 6700K @ 5GHz, 32GB of 3200MHz DDR4, etc.) so I'm not worried about graphics lag. Project Zomboid can render many Zombies given it's 2D-like isometric style, I've yet to see a 3D Game capable of rendering many zombies. - From what I've read the standalone version varies greatly from the original Mod, If I want new versions do I get the standalone version or the mod? Which is being updated more frequently? Is it worth owning Arma II to play DayZ or am I fine with the Standalone version? - Is the Multiplayer community overly aggressive? Am I going to struggle with zombies or is some guy with an assault rifle going to run up and blow my head off every time I spawn? And I'm fully aware of the Early Access status, I don't care if the game has bugs/instability so long as it is generally playable and the game is being consistently updated. A lot of my perceptions come from Let's Plays of H1Z1 and I'm not sure if they carry over. If my questions have been answered in some kind of FAQ/Planned or Implemented Features List/Mod-Standalone comparison type of page I apologize again for missing it.
