    Lookin for some folks to squad up with. I'm from SE USA. 36 yrs old and been soloing for about a month. Anyone interested for tonight? I don't have a VoiP server access but I guess I could try and get Skype up and running.

    I do have Steam, but I didn't get Arma 2 via Steam. Does that matter? I'm a noob at voice via Steam as well.

    Hey Abs1nth Maybe. I havent heard anything back yet from C4rt3r. Are you gonna be on today or later? What time zone are you? I dont play this thru steam but I can use Skype. (never tried it for gaming tho)

    Hey I'm interested. I've been playing for a few weeks now, all of it solo. I'm looking for at least a partner to run with, but if we get a good-sized squad that would be good as well. I'm a little older than you but it looks like we have similar interests. I have a mic and can d/load any of those VoiP programs that you prefer.

    I can agree with your 1v1 to find the best in a fair competition. However this is the apocalypse. Nothing is fair. Youjust made a poor decision that resulted in your death. I have previously died the same way. I learner from it and moved on.

    You will find no sympathy here. Twitch reflexes do not equal skill in this game. Decision making skills are WAY more important.

    Single MOST important thing to know BEFORE you find loot. Figure out how to work the inventory and your backpack. It is NOT intuitive! Spend some time in the Armory or something and learn how to move stuff between the ground, your pack and your inventory quickly.

    Not trying to be a prick here, but the Winchester 1866 is a rifle NOT a shotgun. So, with slugs equipped it has much better range than a shotty. Hope this helps you with longer engagements.

    Shot & wounded from long range. Fire attracts Zeds to me. First hit knocks me unconscious. They eat me. I looted 2 of the hangars to find one AK-74 mag. The server had maybe 8 players on it. What a douchebag... Whats the point of sitting looking thru a scope for hours. I spent two hours just getting to the damn place.

    OP was playing on low population server cause it had good ping and at that time of the morning there are few people playing. Didn't go to NW airfield intentionally, I actually got lost until I saw it and realized where I was. Next sarcastic ass remark please.

    I think that the higher your murder count is, the more damage a Zed does to you w/ a chance to Infect you. Once infected and after a period of time you die and become a Zed. :) There could be a really rare serum to counter act this, like the helicopters.

    PvP is part of the experience as survivors would squabble over supplies and eventually kill each other or work it out. This is a great aspect of the game. The Zeds and the whole surviving the apocalypse in a huge sandbox world is awesome. However, a server-hopping sniper, looking for a target? I dont think thats what was intended for this game. Where's the cost to being a griefer?

    So, advice is... don't sneak because I'm an easier target to PK'ers. Roger, kill on sight Zeds and move faster. Got it.
