People need to stop throwing around that it takes "10-15 minutes" to meet up with your friends. If you die at the Northwest Airfield and spawn in Elektro, it's going to take a fuckload longer than that. Once again, address the fact that disabling respawns does nothing to relieve the server load on the hive. As some have pointed out, it will actually be worse. Now people will suicide by zombie, which means running somewhere zombies spawn, which in all probability is also a loot spawn. Disabling respawn, once again, is entirely idiotic. It will add an additional 10+ minutes on average to when I can start actually going to meet my buddies and will add more pressure to the hive for the loot that is being spawned as I run into Solichiny to die. I will still save time suiciding til i'm at Kamenka then heading up to the airfield from there. Use some fucking common sense people. This change only creates frustration and addresses nothing. It fixes nothing.

Sitting outside Cherno, looking for people preying on noobs, and I find a person just like that. He's got his ghillie suit and what appears to be an as50 or m107.. he's shooting at somebody, not sure whom. I wait for him to sit still, then shoot him with my as50. Direct hit. He starts moving around while I wait for it to register that he's died. It doesn't happen. He stands still again, I shoot again. Another hit. He still doesn't die. He goes prone, and I fire off 3 more shots, one of them hitting the other two going high. He still doesn't die. If I was using any other weapon, I wouldn't make an assumption, but the AS50 doesn't make mistakes. I shot, I hit, he lived. Invulnerability obviously, and he's just hanging out in cherno trying to snipe noobs.

I don't know but at least one server I was on had an admin who had successfully found and banned a scripter.

I only hide bodies of people who have high end gear. I will kill just about anybody who is armed with a weapon with any sort of range whatsoever, but unless they've got something they had to hit helicopters for, I generally won't hide their body and move on. May as well let 'em grab their shit, assuming nobody else decides to or kills them.

Lack of a single shot kill and variations on milldot rangefinding make the DMR pretty shitty. If it's not a one hit kill, i'd rather have an L85. At least that zeros in. As far as i'm concerned, the DMR is quite possibly the worst sniper rifle in the game. It's probably night vision enabled for that very reason(Much like the L85, on it's merits as an actual rifle, ranks pretty damned low).

The AS50 is quieter than the M14, can easily hit targets at 1k meters, and is always a one hit kill. The M14 doesn't even compare. Not worth being mentioned on this list, just like the AKM. M14 is good if you have absolutely nothing else, but i'd actually take an AK Kobra over that thing.

There's nothing to love about the AKM. It's loud as fuck and has no optics. AS50 for daytime, night maybe M4 silenced with NVG turned on or L85 even though it's a shitty gun with an amazing site.

It's a lot easier to find 'those bloody snipers' with a thermal scope. Just saying.

Only people with virtually no life don't care about the potential loss of time doing what you enjoy(actually playing the game with friends) and instead think it's fine to spend approximately half of the time you should be playing trying to catch up with your group.

Awful change. It's not going to solve the problem in the slightest. People will still suicide, it will just take longer(in the case of most spawns, hardly longer at all). The obvious answer is to allow players to select their spawn location. We're going to spawn where we want, no matter how long it takes, so simplify the process instead of making it more obnoxious. To the people saying the suicide spam is annoying - so is having to run for an hour to meet up with your friends. ASSUMING you don't die in the process. Horrible, horrible idea. I can't tell if you're serious or just trolling. We hide vehicles so(stay with me here, I know it's tricky) we can use them! If we don't hide them, someone else will take them and we will no longer be able to use them. The level of stupidity on these forums.. I just don't even know what to say.

If tents are present then vehicles are also present. If your tent returned and the vehicle did not, somebody found it and took it.

As far as the alt+f4 issue, I have seen a certain game handle it in the past. I can't recall if it was Modern Warfare 2 or Black Ops, but one of them had it disabled to the point where even if you opened up task manager, it would tab instantly back into the game. The only way out was to quit. I have no idea how it was done, but it's clearly evidence that it can be done.
