    +1 for the idea, I like the idea of people sticking out a bad situation rather than hearing a gunshot and going to join another server.

    +1, but only inland because even if they're common, new spawns may not have gas masks or filters to survive their first 5 minutes.

    Your funniest death?

    Not my death but it was hilarious, me (day 3) and my friend (recent spawn) I sprinted from the NWAF to meet him, met up, give him a FAL with 2 clips then as soon as we could, I took him back to the NWAF to get him some more gear. We find a heli crash site, we find some ammo and such in the barracks, as we start checking the hangars I'm taking out Zed's with my Bizon, I kill one in front of a hangar and tell him to hide the body. We hear a strange sound three or four times then both ask "what's that?", we look up to see a pickup truck heading for us. I sprint inside the hangar narrowly dodging it my friend turns and tries to run. Needless to say, he didn't make it. A very unique first death for him, such is life in Chernarus.

    As it stands, I'd say only the first three levels of this pyramid are possible and even then it's a great struggle. I think the whining comes from the third tier, in which people want to be a part of a group but aren't so they bitch and moan about being killed. My suggestion... Fulfill the top tiers.

    Idea how to make killing a harder choice

    Another way to try and control people from going down the path of a bandit. Face it, because people are faceless they kill without remorse and because there's either a group of them or they know everyone is doing it they feel justified. We just need a way to make death seem like the worst thing in the game whilst diverting ghosting, and a way to recognize other people whilst retaining that fear of not knowing if someone is friend or foe.

    I want to live in the woods.

    This is really easy, hatchets are in excess near the coast... After that you can pretty much survive anything but a player attack or if you stupidly attract too many zombies rather than going at them one at a time... I'd suggest a compass, map, matches, canteen and a hunting knife make this MUCH easier. Literally not having to leave the woods at all... I could sustain myself now, especially with the amount of ammo I have for my silenced weapons, but where's the fun in that? You fill your basic needs, then create more.
  10. I had a similar idea, I don't think it would work because of how the current servers are set up and it's one of the selling points of the game. I do have an idea though... Add in a new island, remove the current map end so that those there will die and the equipment lost, add in an island that we can use a boat or chopper to get to from the furthest north points of the map. There wouldn't be any better loot or anything but more of a step up from the "starting zone".

    "IMO, they need a modular skin/inventory/fatigue based system going." Nah I'm not really feeling this... "A skin would be divided into: head / body / pants / belt + backpack" Yeah! I like this idea, this should be good. skim through disagreeing until... "A gasmask can protect against infection from an airborne virus (or from gas if it's ever implemented) plus it gives +10 to cool. A helmet kan protect your head from smaller caliber rounds. Or you can mount a headlamp for convenient light in the dark while on the move." I like this just for the gas mask. So, as an actual idea of customization I like it but as a tactical/fatigue system I don't... I just think the skins should be split into the aforementioned sections and you choose from those to "customize" your character. Definitely adding in headgear you find (like the current clothing sets, please make NVG's work with a gas mask).
  12. Uhm, there are range finders? I think they should be adjustable rather than adding it as a new item... I don't like the stamina or tents.

    +1 for the first picture, not a fan of the second one, not a fan of a hud at all to be completely honest (unless you go in the journal maybe?)

    Pretty pointless, but I support the idea of starting with completely nothing (maybe a canteen?) so I may be bias.
  17. Too many comments to read but I like the idea because of customization and actually being able to recognize players but I don't really like the idea of skins being for a specific role. It should just be a completely random choice by what players thinks looks best.

    Do this in designated servers, I'm fine with that and don't allow those players to hop from those to these servers.

This is a relatively good idea but if you look at the backpacks, unless you take apart the guns you wouldn't be able to fit any primary weapon in there so I think this "realism" is pointless when in reality you wouldn't get any gun in there. I do have an idea for a weapon sling which allows multiple primaries to be carried/used effectively if you'd support that as a more realistic idea though.
  20. I don't overly like the idea because I hide all the bodies I "produce", I'd make do with the drag feature though, especially if you can do this with injured or knocked out players too.

    Banditry and co-operation.

    "Make your own missions" I slightly agree with that but there is no system for something like this at the moment, I personally want to see a system that if you kill all the zombies in the area, they will only spawn on outskirts of the town rather than just not in the immediate vicinity. I think that'd effectively solve both sides of this argument.

    Not a bad idea, I really want this to be a more negative thing than positive though... Maybe it stops shakes and stops your food meter depleting for 5 minutes (someone else's idea, just changed the time) but it only works two or three in a row then the food meter will start again. I'm sorry, trading for them isn't a bad idea (especially with an addiction meter) but I'm hoping the currency is bullets. The variety and usefulness far surpasses cigarettes.

    Disconnecting to avoid death

    Someone literally just spawned behind me in an airfield barracks, shot at me with an AK, hit me once in the leg. I ran into a room, wanted to bandage but thought it's best to go out in a blaze of glory rather than risk being a sitting duck. Sprint into the room he ran in after missing me, gone. So, not only did he attempt to ghost me he also left afterwards. I don't think Rockets current idea will fix this... I think he needs to remove the current consistent servers to stop people from doing this. It won't punish anyone unless their home server is over populated...
