After the patch I have experienced a huge performance drop. I tend to get around 12fps to 18fps which utterly unplayable. I am playing with everything either off or on very low. My render resolution is also at 1600X900. At least before I was getting around 24 which is still unplayable but nice to know that I could at least check up on my favorite game. I am on the break of finally giving up on DayZ. The Arma III Wasteland mod is so much better now it has actually drawn me away from DayZ. It reminds me alot of my old Dayz Mod days but without the zombies :/ That said, I have only seen a couple of zombies in your game. I feel like the game is completely empty, void of life and useable items, just trash. I really hope you guys can improve the performance of the game soon. I hope you also make an easy mode for those of us who like pvp. If you had better performance and a gamemode or at the very least options for the server leaders to have players spawn with rifles and increase the spawn rate of military loot by 200% i would play this game again. I just want to be fun while you work on the survival aspect. I fear that you guys are taking too long and too many players are uninstalling dayz because it is no longer fun. There are no zombies, barely any players, and most of you have the worst frames per second. I can play arma iii at high settings getting 40fps with a 80% render distance. the game is beautiful and the wasteland mod is fantastic. open up the game for modders to make their own maps. I know you are working on getting workshop support but its been 6 months since i last heard about that progress. one of the best parts about the mod was the fact there were dozens of maps to play on to keep things fresh. If you haven't tried out the new wasteland mod for arma iii, try it. its better then the arma ii version and now better then dayz unfortunately. Dayz is the game that got me into PC gaming.
