Will you be requesting a similar mullet for your DayZ character? I think mullets represent hopelessness extremely graphically :P

Frankie won at atmospheric music with this one : I also don't listen to music while i play, since sound is one of the most important aspects of DayZ and music would make me less responsive to small sounds.

To swap a sticky Handguard : 1. Place weapon on your shoulder, have empty hands. 2. Double click Handguard on shouldered weapon to take it into hands. Discard Handguard. 3. Keeping weapon on shoulder, drag new Handguard to the weapon and click Attach Handguard. Now more wizardry to get Bipod on (AK specific atm) : 1. With handguard rail attached to weapon, shoulder weapon. 2. Paint Handguard rail on shouldered weapon Black (yes it is already black). 3. If Handguard jumps off gun during painting, re attach as above. 4. Once Handguard rail is painted Black, attach Bipod.

I only see one example in the OP where the target wasn't moving rapidly. In one example he misses so blatantly i'm not sure why it was used as an example in the first place. Due to desync and ping fluctuations every gun in dayz suffers from the same issue, missing when you're sure it was a hit. Is it calculated client side as far as animation goes? That would explain everything. Anyway, as i said i kill multiple people every day with the 133 Long Shotgun and while desync can be a bitch, if you actually land the shot well it tends to kill even at mid range. EDIT : I should add i think spread should be less, as close to realistic as possible. My point is i don't suffer from the issue posted in the OP assuming i use the right shotgun and play on well synced low ping servers. And for future reference you can just assume i've read the thread before i post :rolleyes:

Dunno what you're all on about to tell ya the truth. The 133 long shotgun is my 2nd favorite weapon after M4 and i get tonnes of kills with it, often first shot...

Was this 58 or 59? Hackers in 58 are literally everywhere at the moment :( Not sure how much better 59 is. I've seen folks who knew my player name without getting close enough to pulse check (i dont use text chat), guys with infinite ammo mags / bullets, newbies that shoot SVD bullets from their fists, people who knew what was in my bag without looking, people who teleport about the place, flying people, fast people, invisible people and guys who can spot you from any distance in any cover.. etc. I'm amazed this is your first :|

If you have the HDD space for it, try setting page file to approx 1.5x you RAM amount, this will ensure it never runs low. Rawr. Nasty "KoS" people... Allow me to fix that for you : "and thanks to being bad at hiding / escaping some folks shot me. I tried the same thing repeatedly expecting different results but alas it was hours before i realized the flaw" :rolleyes:

I've had a similar issue a few times before, and while it seems generally like a legit bug there have been times when other players have seemed capable of triggering this effect. We can't talk about certain practices here, so i'll just mention a bit of research confirmed the ability of some players..

I'd be fine with others being able to manipulate inventory for you while you have hands up though. One example of my thinking : You're holding someone up and they have hands in the air, but unknown to you they have primed and dropped a frag at their feet without dropping their hands. -

Many possibly but FAR from everyone. I bought SA because the mod WAS a mil shooter on a bigger map (with zombies). Even still i don't expect the devs to make my perfect game, i just like what i've seen so far from both the mod and SA individually and am excited to see the final vision. The vast majority of people i've spoken to are saying things like "I'm giving it a break" or "I'm not going to play til it's finished / they add helos / zombies are back and running smooth" rather than "I'm never playing DayZ again". I think as the game starts to become smooth and polished between now and release we'll see a lot of people making a return. -
Then perhaps stop repeating the same thing many times and actually accept some of the things being said to you.

I would make a friendly and quiet suggestion that the above mentioned stash may not have been collected entirely by hand.. but then maybe it was and there's a dedicated team at work. All those Ghillie Wraps sure are tasty looking, good pics.

The way you talk about technical issues and bugs makes me suspect you know quite little about professional software coding. So does the fact you can't understand why graphics issues aren't fixed already in Alpha.

After 1500 hours of tears you might consider not walking up to squeakers and trying to shake hands :D In a previous post you mentioned you approach people and try to act non-threatening. My preference is to be as threatening as humanly possible without killing someone, until i feel i have the situation under control a bit and can decide if they really are friendly <_< -
Don't think there are any Boonie hats in my stash :P But it's wierd you say that because i suffer from a strange compulsion to pick up and horde every Beanie i find on my travels.

You can't blame the players for naturally migrating to the best method of play to suit their current needs. It's down to the game developers to tweak the game to attract the players that suit their vision. More helpful than insulting the people who are doing the KOSing (everyone) would be to suggest game tweaks to encourage other methods. Currently the safest option is to kill someone before they kill you, and the good guys accept some extra danger in return for the extra content of interacting with you instead of eliminating you. You can't expect everyone's plan to include a conversation with you so you must expect them to take the best option as far as their own survival and completion of their personal mission whatever that may be. If the game can make it so that his best option is not necessarily to kill you on sight, he will be less likely to KOS in general. Calling him an ass because he chose to remove you as a threat is short sighted since in the current climate it genuinely was his best chance at survival most of the time.
