I know there's been some general info about introduction of helicopters, but does anyone remember an approximate ETA being mentioned anywhere? I've been excited by the Helicopter Support mentioned in this weeks status update. I know nothing is guaranteed of course, just wondering if it's on the horizon or not ^_^

Weird, i can see them fine on the post. You're the first person to mention this and i've posted using that site many times on here :huh:

Boom. Finally got the party bus up and running. Took her on a tour across the map from East to West before hitting a zombie at speed, ruining the bus and getting into a huge fight with Z's and players :lol: The one major issue we faced was the lack of power even in first gear, it was really hard to get up some fairly tame hills. Part of the issue is that any time a single wheel leaves the ground (happens a lot due to size of wheelbase and angles in the road surface) the revs would drop instantly to 50% and the bus would begin to roll backward. Another major drawback currently for me at least is the forced time acceleration. Night time is fundamentally broken in DayZ:SA due to gamma workarounds and the fact it never actually gets dark, just loses colour. I find myself wanting to hop servers when it starts to get dark (a VERY short time after it got light) just because i don't want to play in black n white. If darkness was actually dark and lighting was a necessity i would LOVE night time. As it stands night is just a mess it seems most people would rather avoid. Either way that was a very fun 6 hours, loving experimental right now despite the very small drawbacks mentioned above. My framedrops when loading players have also decreased dramatically since yesterday morning, so thanks devs :D

You really shouldn't get too attached to stashed gear on Experimental Branch :P

Sort your life out, learn to work things out for your "incompetent self" and stop expecting others to carry you <_<

You need a Battery, a Glowplug and 4 Wheels on it.

I found 2 buses spawned within 50 feet of each other earlier just before servers went down :)

With the amount of hassle it will be to get one going (consider extra hassle currently finding 4 correct wheels separately, spark plug, correct battery etc on .exp for any vehicle) you may find it's not worth it for a seconds worth of suicide that you wont be able to collect loot from.

Yup. 1. Lay down and fire off 10 rounds. 2. Attach bipod, extend it and fire off same 10 rounds. With bipod attached / extended you should experience next to no recoil even on an AKM. Then slap a PSO-1 scope on it for maximum pimpness.

You probably just aren't on the same server, or aren't in the same place.

Had a little play in Arma3, sprint speeds on MH-9 Hummingbird (very similar to MH-6 in performance) approx of 220-230, even had a really lucky crash land at the end when i clipped the rotor on the ground :P http://plays.tv/video/56193ac7a7e4940db0
