omg i didnt even think about farming, snares and fishing. That seems like some worthwhile accomplishments, while we wait for the updates(and my boar). Thx for the advice! Even tho i have maybe 72 hours in game so far, there is still so much i don't know yet. I was thrilled when i figured out you could collect berries and wild apples.

While i agree that animals should spawn randomly, i suppose im one of those players that would like to be able to live in the forests, and survive on hunted game, if i had to. Currently, there just isnt enough wildlife to sustain a full tummy, even while hopping around to deer stands. Always have to go back in town somewhere to grab canned goods. I still want my leather pack.

I will check that out, thx. I have used a webpage with graphics illustrating the potential animal spawn points, and pretty much zigzagged throughout every radius displayed. It didnt seem very consistent, but then again, i am a little confused on animal spawn rate, the frequency, type and location mechanics.

I'd like to kill one and make a leather pack. I have ran around the entire map with multiple lives on several servers, private and public. Only dumb cows and chickens. Maybe a goat.
